I saw this movie on Tuesday and I can safely say it is one of my favorite movies of all time. Right up there with Inception, and I LOVE Inception! :D The 3D was also very impressive and didn't distract from the movie. The placing was also pretty clever. (You know what I mean if you've seen the movie) As far as the storyline goes, you don't have to know the original to understand Tron: Legacy. Throughout the film, you're filled in with all you need to know and the storyline movies along very quickly. It doesn't seem to drag at all. I don't have much to say about the visual effects other than that they were AMAZING. It really shows how far we've come technology wise when you compare this movie to the original Tron, which was also very impressive for it's time. My favorite character was definitely Quorra, played by Olivia Wilde. She was absolutely perfect for the roll! Every time she was on screen her character was extremely captivating, and not just for the obvious reasons! Pair her character's childlike, compassionate attitude with Sam Flynn's (Garrett Hedlund) oblivious and funny personality and you've got great leading and supporting roles for a great sci fi film! Overall I highly recommend you go see this movie. It's something refreshing and nothing short of visually stunning.
