And as she gets older her lyrics will be a lot more appropriate for the audiance, because the main reason she's not using her own lyrics are because they're so dark. krs Posted August 13, 2008 Report Share Posted August 13, 2008 wow, listening to some of her old songs, makes me wish even more that she wasnt a part of the "disney family" cuz i feel like disney limits her lyrical abilities. songs like trash, open, and stronger i feel have really meaningful lyrics that the average person can relate to. oh and i dont get why people think that those songs are so "dark and evil" i think its refreshing, to finally have a young girl sing about other things, rather than the happy-go lucky bubble gum pop songs.
