  1. Its not a Bugera its a JSX and we tracked with a Fatboy amp head.
  2. I'm down, I play guitar and bass and can program drums and record and mix decently. Check out a few of the covers I have done. Some of those are kinda old and I have much better drum samples now and DI equipment. Crushcrushcrush is my more recent one with new gear, theres a big difference. http://www.youtube.com/user/AuntNastyOven#p/u/3/pOgz5BzYK14'>http://www.youtube.com/user/AuntNastyOven#p/u/3/pOgz5BzYK14 http://www.youtube.com/user/AuntNastyOven
  3. Hear 3 new songs at http://myspace.com/goodbyegoodsense Heres a studio video.
  4. I have not really read all of the previous post but I guess I listen to a lot of post rock and indie rock that has a more raw and natural feel rather than overproduced and overpolished. I prefer these types of recordings more.
  5. I would never want a guitar tone like the one at the beginning of ignorance. Sometimes adding too much "clarity" removes some of the warm characteristics of the sound. It really depends what your going for I guess but I would never want the tones that I hear on BNE. They don't do much in terms of intertwining multiple lead parts or have any really busy guitar work so this tone works for them. When I did some cover songs of Paramore I had to way overdo the gain to get it to sound close. I think I got fairly close to their tone in this cover. Here my cover of crushcrushcrush http://tindeck.com/listen/lcdc Oh and try and guess what amp I am playing out of while your at it.
  6. Well I didn't really like Riot that much either but it didn't sound as cookie cutter pop as this newer album.
  7. I know im not attacking anyone it was more of a statement to the general public.
  8. Im not claiming to be a musical genius. Maybe you are musically ignorant? I'm just saying I listen to certain bands because they give me chills or move me or create some mood in me. This album is sterile, generic and uninspiring in my opinion.
  9. I decided to give it another chance because my first impression was pretty bad, I have decided that the only 2 tracks I can listen to consistently are 1 and 5. The whole album as a whole is way way way too poppy for my taste, I miss the slightly darker sounding Paramore of the previous albums. The songs don't stand out as anything really fresh or interesting. Out of 5 stars I would give this album a 2.5, and this is coming from a once big fan. If this new album had the feel that the song Decode had it would be so much better, that song actually moves me in some way this album just bores me. Just from watching some of the live videos as well and the Conan performance, the new material just doesn't have the same energy or vibe at all.
  10. Yeh I never really fell in love with Riot though even with a lot of listens so this being even more poppy than that. =/
  11. I don't see myself liking this album much, seems waaay to poppy and structured for my taste.
  12. I feel like Paramore has lost something they had when they were younger. I can't put my finger on it but that performance just felt tired, both musically and performance wise.
  13. I thought the video was pretty cool, I thought it showcased the band pretty decently, obviously the singer usually gets the most shots but still it was better than some videos where you don't even see the band at all really. The only beef I have is that I hate the song =/ thought the video was awesome though.
  14. The video looks like it might be kind of neat, too bad the song is pretty terrible :/
