  1. hahah Not a good time to be hungry. Oh and PLEASE tell me you take fried onions on your cheesesteak! I'm pretty sure that's the way it was meant to be. Also, I'm now researching if Philly is credited as the origin of the chicken cheese steak as well. Thank you for helping postpone my bedtime, woot!

  7. lmao I can't believe the last 3 pages are all Philly/Jersey show talk. I want it to be October now, going to the Philly show. But I'm just lmao thinking about the millions of people that are going to stalk out Ishkabibble's - I can see them all just crowded around the sidewalk. I'm gonna avoid that like the plague. If I go anywhere away from the venue that day, I'll go get falafel. Homemade cheesesteaks are the best, anyway.

  9. Aaaa you guys make me regret leaving the show early! But I didn't want to have to struggle through EVERYONE leaving at the end and get home really late. I'm just bummed that I missed everyone being out on stage at the same time. It's funny, my friend and I left at probably quarter past 10 and we were over near the ferry and we could still hear everyone screaming like crazy. I was so amazed. Great show, I was so impressed with No Doubt - I've liked them as a band for a while now, but I didn't know what they were like live. And now I know that they're amazing live as well. Paramore were pretty great, and The Sounds impressed me too! All around awesome concert, despite the crazy drunks on the lawn around me.
  10. Cheeuz, one response so far, guys? The Taylor love must make a comeback.
  11. That sucks. Have you ever seen them before? I've seen them once, and it was just at Warped last summer, so it wasn't really a Circa Survive show. I could've seen them back in '06, but it was like a week before my first Paramore concert, and I didn't want to beg my parents to let me go to two concerts within a week of each other. My friend went, though, and supposedly it was awesome. So I'm really stoked about this. I just need a ride, boooo.
  12. They have the dates posted on myspace, but anyway... The show at First Unitarian is September 26. It's a Friday night, which is PERFECT. I got my tickets from ticketweb, via http://www.r5productions.com.'>http://www.r5productions.com. So go to that page (http://www.r5productions.com) and you have to do a bunch of scrolling, but just keep track of the dates you're seeing when you're scrolling. There's an image w/ black background and a generally yellow painting. The "special guests" are TBA. It's $17 a ticket, btw, if there are still tickets. Hopefully there are. It's only been a couple days since I bought mine, and I was surprised they weren't sold out already then. Sorry about responding a little late.
  13. With all this talk regarding rumors of Taylor joining the band officially . . . Does anybody think he'll be included in the writing/recording process for the new album? I know he was in that one mobile stream picture from whatever small recording session they were doing recently, but that isn't extremely signficant. I was thinking, if he's involved in the writing/recording process for the next album, do you think he'll actually become an official band member? Apparently he has helped before, though pretty minimally (Just "Oh Star" and "Conspiracy," I think), so I can't be sure of what to think. Thoughts, anyone? Here's the picture I was referring to: http://paramore.net/photoView?album=mobilestream&value=&photo=9475&albumPageid=2&secAlbumPageid=2&photoSerial=9
  14. Yeah, I've only been there once before, but it was pretty sweet. As long as it's in the basement, it should be SICK. Apparently there are two other areas in the church where they do concerts, but the basement is teeny tiny. But I'm kinda worried that it isn't in the basement because 1) It's Circa Survive, they're pretty big; 2)the tickets had been on sale for like a week already when I bought mine yesterday afternoon, thus they weren't sold out. But maybe people just can't go or there aren't as many Philly fans as I expected? I'm really hoping it's in the basement, though, 'cause it's so small and the stage is extremely low, seriously like 2-3 feet above the floor.
  15. hahaha yeah, I'm a dumbass and didn't realize until after I posted that that they had been posted on their myspace. I got so freakin excited because they're playing at First Unitarian Church, and I was like SHIT IT MIGHT ALREADY BE SOLD OUT, NO ONE IS FINDING OUT ABOUT THIS. And then I saw the myspace bulletin. But GOOD NEWS, they weren't sold out! I just ordered tickets yesterday afternoon, boo yah. I just have to figure out how I'm getting into the city and back to school after. I may have to continue resorting to my dad for transportation, hahah, how lame. P.S.: It's kind of sucky yet awesome how I had to go back like 5 pages to find this. baahahah.
  16. hahaha I am so jealous, even if he actually smelled like dog vagina . . . I can't imagine what that smells like, but just the concept is kinda gross. But yeah, that story way up there is sweet. So far I've seen Circa Survive once, but it was just at warped tour last year. boo. (It was great, though.) I still don't have Avalon, though I really want it, and I don't have any TSOAF stuff, mehh. I so wanted to go last minute to his show at the Starlight Ballroom, I think it was, in Philly last month, but I knew it wouldn't happen t- HOLD ON JUST A SECOND. I have just found great news.... OH wow. This is wonderful, but I'm so keeping it to myself. I'll just say I think I'm gonna see Circa Survive in a couple weeks. (Hopefully). I'm so excited I can't properly express it on here.
  17. keeping the thread alive, eh? jsyk.... I made it while watching an interview with Michael Phelps and his mom on NBC. And maybe because I have a tendency to stay up late and have too much time on my hands. But really, I had been watching the Paramore Being Crazy 4 videos and remembered thinking of this. I always loved that movie/the soundtrack.
  18. I really can't wait for Friday. I want it to happen now. I just checked weather.com and it says 30% chance precip., and a chance of thunderstorms. I don't mind the rain, and I love thunderstorms, but not while I'm outside. But I'll manage no matter what the weather is.
  19. I haven't been to a Final Riot show yet, but it's coming soon! (Friday!) I am kinda hoping I get to meet him, because everyone who has met him have such good things to say. But it really depends on whether or not I can stick around afterwards. And I love your sig. TREOS <3
  20. Wizard People, Dear Reader - WHOOSHERS (Chapter 9) ' "Where's platform nine and three quarters?" "Fudge off, you f***" says the horrible man. He's obviously a goutish f***er. '
  21. Favorite show. Though sometimes I just don't feel like watching. Now I have a newfound craze for Project Runway. Last thing I watched was Dumb & Dumber on TV. It's over now, but I flipped up a channel and Batman Begins is on. Christian Bale.... swoon. hahah
  22. Yeah, it was just a group picture, but it was good stuff. And it got better after the actual meet and greet. We had to go get our spots on the barrier and a girl - who I think I remember talking to on the boards shortly after the show - who was near me by the barrier wanted to go get merch and asked if I could hold her spot, so I did, and then she returned the favor. Pretty sweet. And I'm glad Kenny's kindness got you hooked on TSL. I love that band, it's a shame they're not around now, but hopefully they really do come back! They put on such a great show.
  23. aaa Kenny! I came so close to actually meeting him back in April at TSL's last Philly show, he was standing a couple feet away from me talking with a kid who was a little ahead of me in line. He seems like such a sweet dude. For my own story... ehh, it's kind of stupid when I think about it. (I'm cracking up now because Dumb and Dumber is on - it's the scene where Harry had diarrhea because Lloyd put laxatives in his drink) Last spring, I saw Paramore at the TLA in Philly, and I had gotten meet and greet, which I was pretty excited about. Then I found out my friend couldn't go to the show, and that was a bummer. Nevertheless, my dad had to go with me. When we got there, we found out what time the M&G was at, walked around for a while, and got back to the venue in time. Then we find out the M&G wasn't gonna be for another 20-30 minutes I think. So we waited in a short line by the main doors of the venue, and of COURSE it had to start pouring. Needless to say, by the time I got inside I looked like crap. I went in, and just thought, cool, I'm by myself in here, my friend isn't here, I don't know anyone... it was just really awkward for me. There were a buttload of people in there but I guess some JM lyrics could explain it best... "have you ever been alone in a crowded room?" hahahha I'm a loser. ANYWAY, when the time finally came to get them to sign stuff and take pics and all, the only thing I talked about was that my friend was supposed to come and couldn't make it, and THEN I wanted to get a picture of them holding a sign for my friend that said "Paramore <3s Abby" (maybe you've seen the picture somewhere). Here comes the "embarrassing" moment for me, I was fumbling around with my camera for like 2 minutes trying to figure out why the flash wasn't going off. Soon enough I found out it was because I had it set on Macro because I had last used it to take pictures of the baby bunnies we were taking care of at my house. And I swear in the picture with the flash, Zac has this look on his face like "wth is going on" hahahah. But Josh is awesome, as he had stuck the sign in his mouth to hold it, and when I took the second pic (WITH FLASH) he was still holding it like that. And Hayley has a sad face on, hahah it's pretty brilliant. But yeah for me that qualifies as embarrassing because I'm extremely self-conscious. It makes me glad I gave my M&G from the Riot! tour to my friend, hahah. She probably handled it much better than I would have. Dang this is long. Sorry, guys.
  24. That is pretty cool. Is the picture on a bottlecap? And DO I SEE HOUNDSTOOTH? Sorry, it's quite possibly my favorite pattern ever.
