oh, i understand that people change. it would be foolish to not like somebody anymore just because they grew up. but it's a different story when someone changed SO much, like in my opinion, avril did. i don't like the new avril, not because she changed, but because of who she changed into.

flyleaf is awesome! the lyrics to "so i thought" have to be some of the most wonderful lyrics ever written... at least that's what i think. i have them on my myspace :] ^ and that acoustic video is amazing. she sings that so beautifully... i've never watched any of their acoustic stuff, i'll go check some out...

the hush sound is one of my two favorite bands (paramore being the other one =p) i love love love them. i saw them once in concert... then went to their acoustic show in toledo and met them. it's really awesome cause my parents and sister love them, too. we listen to them in the car and my dad and i play their songs on our guitars together a lot =p anyway i can't wait for their new cd. i love "as you cry" and "love you much better" already

lewymocha06, i don't think this thread if for "avril fans only". i mean the threads here about bands/artists other than paramore are for discussion, not just for fans. and telling people to shut up or get out of threads isn't very fair... or nice for that matter. as for me, i'm not an avril fan anymore. years ago i was a huge avril fan... i posted a LOT on bandaids and was even a moderator on there. i was a fan until "Girlfriend" came out. she just changed so much. i didn't like the lyrics to that song at all. i mean, what's it about? stealing somebody's boyfriend because they're ugly? no thanks. even if it's meant to be humorous, i still didn't like it. also her using the F word in the new album turned me off. and just what she said in interviews and stuff, too. oh, and the Blender magazine cover. ugh. i know she said she was wearing a tube top, but it still looked like she didn't have anything on. i was just fed up. i missed the girl power she used to have, now to me she just seemed like the rest of the world. well that's how i feel about avril. i would appreciate not being thrashed for it, i didn't say anything unnecessary lol =]

yeah i agree, i didn't really get the concept accept for maybe the binoculors thing. i was watching it with my sister and she asked if those guys were pirates lol. i didn't get who they were... but anyway i thought it was awesome!! i loved the feeling of the video... and hayley's hair looked great even though i didn't quite get the concept, this is one of my favorite paramore videos

^^ yeah =[ that was an amazing performance though! it had so much energy, as always. ohh man i was so excited to see them on there. i'm so happy for them i loved how a few of the guys from Conan's band came out and played the "mariachi" music haha

i agree and yeah i loved this entry... it made me respect hayley even more. i never really knew what sort of way she was using God's name in the song, so this really straightened it out for me. *EDIT* it was around july 3rd sophie =]

yeah, what addie said. i was a DJ on Rockin Rebels too, and trust me, it's not a very easy bussiness. they're awesomely cool of course, it just doesn't seem to work out very well...
