Can you tell me some of the theory's behind SLS? I take vocal lessons, or did, but I don't really know where what I'm learning lines up with other people's theories. Not that it matters if it works for me, but I'd like to know anyway.

It's actually considered a compliment by a lot of female vocalists to have their voice likened to that of a boy. Rock singers, anyway. Girl singers often have very weak, floaty voices. To have your voice compared to a boys is normally considered a sign that you've got a lot of power and fundimental in your voice.

Ah that sucks. You should be able to have your Paramore love freely. I personally don't talk much to my friends about Paramore cause they're just not interested. I'll talk casually about things like when the CDs coming out and such, but I don't bore them with how funny Zac is or whatever. Cause I reckon that can make them hate them.

I don't think it's that long. Although there's mostly sucess with males in music I certainly hope that you don't see that Paramore's sucessful dispite Hayley. You're probably not saying that, but there's a small hint of it in your post. Cause I'm a singer, and a girl, and obviously love Paramore's style - so I'm hoping that it's not such a bloody rough ride. Then again, where would the fun be if it were easy?

But... she is hot. Well, I don't use the word hot, because that's just degrading, she's pretty. Both inside and out. I listen to a lot of punk rock and such aswell as a lotta pop, so when people found out I loooove the Veronicas everyone decided that I was a loser and a poser. Because they're pop. I'm trying to get to a point here I'm kinda missing. I guess just that we all see something they don't. Cause we're willing to look for longer and get past first impressions. That's why Paramore fans rule.

I doubt it'll happen. They're moving ahead, they can't do that if they keep going back to old things and such. But I have a feeling that Hallelujah, Rewind and Temporary will end up on RIOT!. At least, I'm hoping they will. 'Specially Rewind.

The way I see it there's no longer a point in trying to make people realize what emo really is. It's too far gone. So give in to the stereotypes and make up your own word.

Ah: http://paramoreband.livejournal.com/5887.html again... i usually don't post this often but i would like to clear something up... apparently, because of the last post that i put up about avril lavigne, people now think that i am a huge fan and that i'm glad that people compare us to each other. just for the record, i am not really a fan of avril, nor am i too thrilled that people are comparing me to her. however, i can't prevent this from happening. all i can do is be who i am. as far as i see it, i am the lead singer of a great band that wants to give people great music to enjoy. we would love it if we could go through our whole career without the shallow comparisons and criticisms, but that's just not possible. i would never discredit anyone's hard work and accomplishments and i'm not trying to start a "girl fight" which would be extremely lame. i just don't mind sharing my thoughts about this. alright well, this is definately the end of this matter... hayley "the youth is wasted on our young." As I recall it from an old LJ post, Hayley doesn't like Avril. But I'll try and find the post to back myself up.
