  1. We're watching. There's just nothing to moderate.

PS - We reopened these boards when people thought that Twitter/X was going to close and were worried about losing the community that they'd built there. That never happened, but we still paid for hosting, so the site is still up.

If you'd like stop by and post every so often in the hopes that more people come to hang out here, we would love that... but there's no reason to go and say stuff like your post above. We're here as a place for fans to post and connect if they want to. Not for people to cause chaos cause they're bored.

  2. Welcome, Gerardo! Sorry this place isn't anywhere near as active as it used to be, but hopefully you can learn some new info about the band.

Have fun at your first Paramore concert this summer! The male to female ratio is pretty equal at Paramore shows these days, so it's all good. Sometimes solo concerts are more fun. I've been to a few over the years.

  3. We've been lucky enough to do interviews with Paramore every few years, but it's always tough to come up with original questions and we don't always get enough notice to ask fan-submitted ones. I thought it'd be nice to keep a thread open so everyone can post their questions, and we'll consider them for any future chats we might have with the band.

  4. I'd love to see Zac back playing drums! As for JMJ, I'm hoping that with his diverse musical background, it wouldn't be the same album twice. I recall them saying that he helped them find the sound they wanted without pushing them too hard to go to one style over another, so I'm crossing my fingers that'll be the case again. Not that I didn't like Self-Titled though. It was incredible!

  5. Anybody else here into Tori Kelly? I heard her on the radio earlier this year but didn't get too into her. Then I saw her on an episode of Superfruit on YouTube and a few award shows. I really started checking her out when my friend Dan asked a bunch of us to go see her and I watched all her YouTube performances and stuff to prepare. I'm in love. I could listen to her sing the phone book, and honestly... she probably could.

  6. I really need to listen to her. I heard part of a song on the radio yesterday. I found out the other day that she's from one town over from where my family lives now, so either way, she's cool in my book.

  7. Does anyone here use MyFitnessPal? It's an app/website that lets you keep track of food intake, exercise, etc. I've used it periodically over the years, but I'm on an 11-day streak right now, and it's becoming a daily thing and much easier (they say takes about 21 days to form a habit).

Part of the app is a calorie counter, and that's fine, but I really like that it also keeps track of other intake like carbs, sugars, sodium, etc. I never even took those into consideration before! My weakness is, of course, sugar, but I'm working on it. Replaced my breakfast shake with a "no added sugar" version, and that's made a world of difference.

    Check it out here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/

If anybody wants to add me as a friend, my username is chrissc85. :)

  8. I've always judged yoga really hard, but I think I may have to finally give in or find something similar that I can do. I could use the strength training. I wish I had more places to walk to where I live because I could walk all day long and would prefer it over driving. Running doesn't really tire me out either, but it's just annoying to do on a treadmill. I'd rather be outside doing it, but I live in the forest and don't feel like getting attacked by any bears (although, running away would be great exercise!). Haha, I've never tried the stair master, but I can agree that the elliptical is a really weird machine and I'm not the biggest fan either.

  9. I'm a night owl, so trying to work out in the morning isn't going to work for me, haha. I will be making more of an effort to do some things once I get home and on weekends though. :)

Preplanning meals is something I need to work on and something I would really like to do. For me, it's a little tougher because I live with a house full of people (my family) who would eat my food without a second thought. Then I'm out food and money. Any recommendations on sites to help with meal planning?

So sorry to hear about your situation, Kayla. Could it be a thyroid issue? I know my grandma had problems with hers when I was younger, and she would go up and down, weight-wise. She's got it under control now and I think that really helped. I hope the tests your new doctor did shed some light on things. Keep us updated!

  10. I started gaining weight after college, when I had to start commuting into New York for internships or driving to work (instead of walking like I could in Boston).

At my peak, I was about 195 lbs, and that was when I kind of woke up and said, "This needs to change now!" I tried working out, but changing my diet helped more and I lost about 20 lbs. Now I'm kind of stuck where I am, but that's still far from where I want to be.

It's tough cause my work hours are 11am-7pm and I commute over an hour each way. My job is super stressful, so by the time I get home, the last thing I want to do is work out or make something healthy for dinner. I'm in great need of some tips and motivation.

I did just give up soda and artificially flavored juices though, so that's my new start. :)

  11. I've tried hummus, and I just can't get into it, lol. I love cucumber but I always forget to buy some. I like mine with lemon juice and a sprinkle of salt. Also, thanks for the reminder that watermelon is back in season! It's the only melon I like.

I've never tried Skinny Cow products, so I'll definitely check those out. Thanks, Sabz!
