  1. I was really hoping to get picked for Cocky Basketball. Basketball is such a huge part of my life. Real bummed I didn't get picked
  2. I almost forgot about it. It will probably come next week, or early February. With videos like these from bands like Paramore, release dates are mostly tentative and they aren't too worried about trying to get it out on a specific day that's promised. I'm sure it's coming soon.
  3. Got my ticket. Not really a Fall Out Boy fan, but I'm sure it will be a fun show. Looking forward to it
  4. Congrats on the launch, Chriss! Which reminds me, we need to start updating our Band to Watch.
  5. She probably forgot the words. I didn't hold it against her too much. The finalists had a bunch of songs to memorize last night, plus nerves, etc. She did pretty good, but my favorite won in the end so I'm happy, haha. The girl that sang with Paramore is great, especially for her age, but she usually ends up just being loud, not really showing off her voice. But I still give her credit for how far she has come and how much potential she has.
  6. It was a great performance. And yes, it is good to hear something other than Still Into You on TV!
  7. We're a rare breed, haha. Nice to have you here, by the way! Hope you stick around and let us know if you listen to more Paramore music. We always enjoy discussing the music we love.
  8. I think when someone is very familiar with someone's work, and you make connections to other artists/bands/etc., it can be easy to think that there had to be some sort of influence or help writing. I think about that all the time when I hear artists on the radio that have lyrics that sound so similar in style to writers I know of. But I think our familiarity with them can sometimes mislead us to believe it is them. I was unsure of whether this may be true or not with songs on the new album, but seeing Hayley's tweet kinda cements it for me. I don't think they used Gregg as a ghost writer. It just seems very un-Hayley to lie about that sort of thing. Paramore has always given credit where it is due, especially with fellow artists/musicians (and close friends in particular!). And a song writing credit in the album notes would be so easy for them, it would be more effort than it's worth to cover it up like some kind of secret. So for now I don't think Gregg had anything to do with the song. But of course, I'm just speculating. So don't quote me, haha. I don't know for sure, but that's the feeling I get in my gut. And I highly recommend checking out Paramore's music catalog. I think you'll find some gems you really like!
  9. Well, The Final Riot was one incredible tour, so for that reason alone, it's a worthy poster. But I do agree with Zoe, if your sister already have a lot of Paramore stuff with their faces on it, maybe look for something with the band on it. But I do see where you were going with this. That poster is more rare, and it's unique and special. I suppose it all depends on her taste. Will she like something less common that relates to an event in the band's history, or something more generic, but shows the band's likeliness more? Tough call! Or maybe we're all over-thinking this and she will love whatever you choose
  10. Welcome! High five for Green Day. Glad to have you here. Thanks for joining
  11. Nicely organized post. Great job!
  12. If I ever had to pick a favorite song by Paramore, I probably couldn't, but if I absolutely had to think of one song that gave me chills the most, it would probably be 'All I Wanted' for sure. It's a perfect end to Brand New Eyes.

Welcome, Hannah! Thanks for joining PF!
  14. I agree. Because that's what Paramore has always been (as you know). They also surround themselves with super nice people (like Jon). And that's one way to always have a good head on your shoulders and never lose sight of the goal. And it keeps them humble and down-to-earth. When a band makes you want to just give them hugs all of the time, you know they are doing everything right.
  15. Haha I stopped following his tweets when he said "It's not Happy Holidays, it's Merry Christmas!" What a huge anti-Semitic thing to say. I tried giving him some some credit. I don't blame him for not liking to play songs that were about him in a harsh way. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't appreciate that, either. But I think he crossed a line. But his cats are freaking adorable. I'll give him that much. And yes! Zac is amazing. I just wish he would come hang instead of hiding away in New Zeland so long.
  16. Didn't get to post this the other day, but I got a DM on Twitter from Jon Howard right before the CT show started. And then hung out afterward. It was probably better than the entire show, haha. Also got a wave from him during the show. One of the nicest guys in music. It's no wonder he tours with Paramore. All really nice people doing nice people things. Can't go wrong with that. And for any General Ghost fans, you'll like what's coming in the future (can't say how soon, didn't go that far into detail)!
  17. It's definitely hard to come back from, and I used to try to give Josh some credit and not take sides, but his whole "imposing Jesus on everyone" thing is a bit off-putting to me. But bands have come back from other very public falling-out issues in the past. So it's totally possible. Time heals all wounds (maybe).
  18. I've got a feeling their friendship doesn't quite look like that these days, haha.
  19. That's reputation. So for every "like" your posts get, it increases your reputation. I think we have it set up so you can only gain reputation. You can't lose it. There is a setting we have for people to down vote your posts, which would mean people could get negative reputation, and if they reach a low enough level, they get suspended. But we don't have that enabled right now.
  20. All done. She should be able to access everything now.
  21. I was worried it would be too far from what I'm used to hearing Hayley sing, but even from the first time I heard it, it just worked so well. Especially the acoustic version. You really get to hear Hayley's vocals without any fancy effects and it's just so perfect. I can see how it would be a turn-off to some fans, but I think it ultimately grows on everyone. It's just too darn catchy and Hayley's voice is great.
  22. If she doesn't see any email in her spam inbox, let me know what her username is and I can manually validate it.
  23. If you don't want to upload a photo elsewhere and then put the URL into your signature, you can also click "My Media" in the text box editor you type your signature in, and choose an image from gallery, attachments, etc. anything that you have uploaded to the site. But of course, you'd have to have uploaded something to the site in the past, whether it's an attachment to a post, a gallery image, etc. so feel free to do that right now here if you want to attach an image to a post so you can later add it to your signature. Same with Gallery. It's another option. But of course, feel free to upload the image to an image hosting site elsewhere and just copy the link in like Caitlyn mentioned.
