  3. New band I am totally digging right now. FIELD MOUSE! Indie & pop & punk and electronic, all really really awesome! They are up for Deli Magazines Artist of the Month and there is only 1 day left to vote! if you like them... do them a solid and cast a vote here. It only takes 2 seconds! nyc.thedelimagazine.com/snacks Field Mouse is set to release her independent debut album, entitled You Are Here on the 25th of this month. It is stated to be a modern collection of melodic, lush pop sensibilities filtered through dreamy reverb, and paired with sincere reflective songwriting. The result yields an astute retelling of the contents of battered journals chronicling youth in the woods of New England. To create such a layered portrait of sounds Field Mouse worked with the New York native, talented Andrew Futral [MC Chris, Age of Rockets, Aqua Teen Hunger Force] Adam Cristgau [Nicole Atkins] Gabel D'amico [Twin Sister] and Dan Romer [ingrid Michaelson, Jenny Owen Youngs, Fire Flies] for the completion of this record. Previously, Field Mouse has also been the voice on many popular collaborations such as Toby Goodshank, Arms and Legs, Kyle Gilbride, Apse, Gregory & the Hawk, Kiss Kiss and is now set to release a collection of her own work which has driven up buzz with Scott Riebling of Letters to Cleo and New Yorks Deli Magazine to name a couple. CD release show is scheduled for Saturday May 22nd at The Living Room and will feature artists Gregory & the Hawk, Candy Hearts and Shira. This is an free, open, public event and more information can be found here http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=124074274270620
