Andrew
I need to start listening more to stuff from 09 rather than whoring old albums. I'll just do of the year so far... no order... 'Vivarium' - Twin Atlantic 'Crack the Skye' - Mastodon 'Humbug' - Arctic Monkeys 'Everyday Demons' - The Answer 'The Incident' - Porcupine Tree 'Hey Everyone!' - Dananananaykroyd 'Do The Job' - Baddies But I will add: 'Only Revolutions' - Biffy Clyro 'A Balloon Called Moaning' - The Joy Formidable 'Planets of Old' - Cave In (if EPs are allowed ) To my list. With a few possible albums making my list too... 'Mean Everything to Nothing' - Manchester Orchestra 'Them Crooked Vultures' - Them Crooked Vultures 'Daisy' - Brand New 'Everything looks worse in Black and White' - The City and Skyway 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum' - Kasabian 'Leave Everything Behind' - Flood of Red I need to listen more to those ^^ At the moment 'Brand New Eyes' doesn't appeal to my ears so I doubt I'll be listening to it extensively I downloaded Converge but I haven't listened to it yet. Green Day, Madina Lake and Enter Shikari are guaranteed not to be on my list

Andrew
I liked them at one time. But then they put half of American Idiot out as singles, and worked with U2. That was it for me. They were/are no longer a punk rock band. I bet Johnny Rotten is laughing I would be tempted to say that The Jonas Brothers are more punk rock than Green Day these days, but I won't say that Oh wait... Harry
I remember when American Idiot became cool. I didn't think it was cool. Actually, it was severely annoying, because every "punk rawk" kid at school would be singing it

Wiking
Dookie is decent, everything else is not. I do however like one of their album titles "Warning" that says all about that album. It's actually the same story with The Offspring. They made one and a half good album and then they've just turned to garbage. I remember that either you liked The Offspring or Green Day, at least that's how it was here. Green Day vs. The Offspring.

Will have to buy it if so. I'm wondering how many people will assume "Frabbit" is the actual name of the band? And I started grouping albums of the year into ratings earlier today and realised how many more albums I need to listen to more.

Andrew
No surprise that The Strokes are number one Libertines at two was a nice surprise. Edit: I just spotted a picture of Avril Lavigne on the NME website to my shock, and it leads me to a column written by Dee Snider saying we should reclaim the "Metal Horns" gesture. Dee Snider, what a legend lol "I was stunned. This was a clear violation of the Mason Dixon Accord of 1856, signed at the end of the Civil War. To sum up pages and pages of rhetoric, legalese and political bullshit, it says: “You don’t fuck with our shit and we won’t fuck with yours.” Or something like that. Bottom line: this genre crossing was never supposed to happen." http://www.nme.com/blog/index.php?blog=123&title=calling_all_metalheads_it_s_time_to_recl&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=
