Hiroki
that's bullshit, how can you like that and say BNE is crap? I don't get it. Never said they were all good I said they were guilty pleasures. And get over it already I despise BNE it's shite, let it go

travel_hymn
No I don't? I just wanted to know how you could enjoy that kind of music (guilty pleasure or not), yet say something like BNE is crap, that's all. I wasn't asking why you were saying BNE is crap, different question.
Hiroki
Fair enough. I get enjoyment out of my guilty pleasures whereas I get nothing from Brand New Eyes except hatred. That answer it?

Harry
^Wouldn't have figured you'd be a nu metal fan, despite our many conversations about musical taste, so I'm surprised to see Korn and Limp Bizkit make your list. I like some of the guitar playing on Chocolate Starfish but Durst makes it unlistenable for me. I like about 8 Korn songs, two from the debut, 2 from Life is Peachy, 2 from Follow the Leader and 2 from Issues. But hell, nu metal or not, it's metal I guess. Other things I would have not have guessed from you include: Ben Folds Gorillaz Justin Timberlake I knew you'd heard MCR, but didn't realize you enjoyed them that much. I think the latest The Faceless album is much better than Akeldama, but that's just me. You like Agalloch and Scar Symmetry and have never told me this, fuck. I listen to both at least 3 days a week. And Gojira wise your inclusion of Terror Incognita and an absence of From Mars To Sirius and The Way of All Flesh has left me quite disturbed and saddened. Please consider changing your mind on this:p
SalsaC
I don't know Gojira's stuff that well, so that's why I didn't include everything they have done. Terra Incognita was the first one I heard from them and that was only a few months ago, so I haven't got into the rest properly yet. They made a hell of an impression on me with that album, though. My mind isn't bendable, BTW. >
Harry
^Seriously, before the end of the year, give From Mars and The Way of a whole heap of spins. I don't think you'd be disappointed.

Wiking
@Lee First of all there is a lot of the names I don't know, so wouldn't be fair to comment on those. I was considereing Bloc Party - Silent Alarm, Klaxons. And Flaming Lips should probably have been on my list. And then I am just sick and tired of Alphabeat, but that is because they have been played to the extreme here, hence that they are danish. They are actually a decent band, but some bands can get annoying when they are on air all the time, if you know what I mean. Oh and Ladytron and Maximo Park (only the first album, since then they have been so-so) are neat as well.

Harry
Nice pick of Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence there Lee, I haven't heard that in ages, about 2 months or so now, but I fucking love that album, so I need to give it a spin again sometime soon for sure. You like SikTh, good fucking man. Both their albums are excellent, but Death of a Dead day is their best, brilliant in fact IMHO. Sucks they disbanded, they were a rare band doing something unique. Artist In the Ambulance, I used to listen to that everyday for about 2 months, so fucking good, that is definitely going in my top of the decade list.
