I don't understand.

its all about genetics. when a baby gets born, it always gets characteristics from its mom and its dad. you can examine that and find out what most people get in which way from their parents. or something like that.

yeah it was pretty funny. we made a list comparing all results in class and when my teacher asked around to tell how many people where there having a specail characteristic it was always like "I have 6 people having freckles and 4 having none." and then I came with like "12 people having freckles, 36 have none." everybody just turned around looking like "wtf, where did YOU nerd get to ask so many people?!"
