This means all your subscribed topics and forums will send you a notification on the board when a post/reply is made. You can choose to have the notifications sent immediately after a topic/reply is posted, delayed (meaning only if you aren't active), daily (which means once a day you will receive notifications about your watched content), weekly (which will send you notifications once a week about your watched content), or not at all. There is also a hook on the sidebar (hook means content block) which will also display all your watched topics and forums, so you don't really even need to go into your User CP to get to your stuff, you can see it all on the board index. All the settings for this stuff can be changed as well. I plan on making a topic with a tutorial on how to use most of the boards features soon, so that will explain this better (with pictures!).
