HayleyRoxMySox 9 Report post Posted September 29, 2010 I only know how to post pictures from links. I have a few pics from VersaEmerge's acoustic set at Looney Tunes I want to post, but they're on my desktop, not on the internet.

HayleyRoxMySox 9 Report post Posted September 29, 2010 that's a lot of work, I'll do it over the weekend. Got a couple good pictures though they're dark because my flash was screwed up, and got one good one with me and the band.

Chriss 10,903 Report post Posted September 29, 2010 You could also make a Flickr account and post them there. Then you could post a few pictures here as previews and just link to the rest. You could do that with Photobucket too, but I'm not a huge fan of how they resize your photos and such.
kasiek 9,911 Report post Posted September 29, 2010 or even imageshack and made album with them. as far i know flickr allows free users to post only 100 photos in a month (but i might be wrong)
Dustin 2,108 Report post Posted September 30, 2010 or even imageshack and made album with them. as far i know flickr allows free users to post only 100 photos in a month (but i might be wrong) This is true. Many times I have to decide on which of my beloved concert pics does not get the opportunity to get posted to Flickr haha
HayleyRoxMySox 9 Report post Posted September 30, 2010 image limits isn't a problem, most of my pics came out like shit because like I said my flash was being a bitch. So I only ended up getting like 5 good ones, plus a 6th of the sign outside the store advertising them.
kasiek 9,911 Report post Posted September 30, 2010 geez so you can use anything to upload them
HayleyRoxMySox 9 Report post Posted September 30, 2010 except that I'm technologically incapable, Kasia. You don't understand. My ability to use computers like a pro ended with the Commodore 64, that was in the 80s. I know nothing about uploading pictures. My wife uploaded them for me and e-mailed them to me, then left me to fend for myself after that.

You're well on your way to surpassing your Commodore 64 skills! Do you need a quick guide on how to upload a picture to a photo sharing website? Or you don't know how to post an image after uploading it to a photo sharing website? Or is it something else?
HayleyRoxMySox 9 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 fuck almighty, I put them all on imageshack and tried to post them, it said that the image extension wasn't allowed on this site. what's that all about?
Dustin 2,108 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 What was the URL you used?
Scott! 9,812 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 Did you use Direct Link? Or a tinyurl?
HayleyRoxMySox 9 Report post Posted October 5, 2010 I used the insert image function in the fast reply. The links were the ones that imageshack made when I uploaded each pic.
Scott! 9,812 Report post Posted October 5, 2010 They were the Directs? Those are the only ones that work with the insert feature. I use Imageshack all the time and have never had a problem.
Chriss 10,903 Report post Posted October 5, 2010 Did the links end with .jpg (or maybe .png)? Some of the links Imageshack gives you aren't direct links. Whenever you post a picture link, it needs to end with the file extension.
kasiek 9,911 Report post Posted October 5, 2010 i uploaded tons pics to imgeshack and it's working fine for me.
