Did Paramore really do a show at that huge stadium in Malaysia?

Hey guys! I was just looking through Paramore's tour dates from last year on Wikipedia.

 

According to Wikipedia, on the Asian leg of the Brand New Eyes World Tour, Paramore did a show at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

That stadium is incredibly enormous- it has over 80,000 seats!

Did Paramore actually do a show at that massive stadium? Did they even manage to sell out and fill up the stadium?

 

Did it rain during the show?

 

Are Paramore really that popular in Malaysia?

 

Does anyone have any info on this?

Yes they played in Kuala Lumpur last year, yes they are popular in Malaysia, BUT they didn't play to 80,000 people, and no it didn't rain.The great thing about venues that size is that you can move the stage forward or backward to accomodate the amount of people who buy tickets. According to a few blogs I've read, they only played to 8,000 people.

i'm from malaysia :)

 

i went to that concert, it was amazing.

 

and i have to say paramore is pretty popular among the youngsters in malaysia!

and after that concert, they became even more popular here!
