And they're going on their first headlining tour...good openers - Dresden Dolls or OK Go, depending on which leg, plus The Hush Sound...

And small venues still - these shows are going to sell out super fast. Hmm...I'd normally go to the 9:30 Club show, but I have tickets to Warped in Raleigh on that day...maybe I'll go to the show in Norfolk...

Las Vegas rockers PANIC! AT THE DISCO, whose debut, "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out," has sold over 500,000 copies, will kick off their first headlining tour June 6th in Tucson, Arizona. The two-month jaunt culminates with an August 4th turn at Lollapalooza. Joining them on the road will be the DRESDEN DOLLS and the HUSH SOUND, with OK GO also performing select dates. Presale tickets will be available beginning today.

500,000 copies. Wow. And Paramore have sold slightly under 30,000 copies. That's not right. And I like P!ATD...but that's still not right.

i think FBR spent a little too much time gettin Panic out there to people. i know that pete is the reason for all of this, and pretty much cause FOB was on MTV and stuff. i wish that maybe they hadn't gottne it all though

Honestly, I didn't see that much evidence of FBR spending much time on Panic! (or at least no more than they've spent on other bands) - they just took off like a rocket. Some bands just do that - they've got the right music for the right time or whatever...

And Panic!'s stuff is catchy as hell.
