Locomotion Posted March 16, 2007 Report Share Posted March 16, 2007 I wanted to bother you guys with a small favor Well i been working on putting PF on top yahoo and google search results and so far ive had luck with google, we are on position #5 which is not bad, on yahoo we are on #8; Iam sure we can improve both ranks, in other to do so we need your help. Its really simple, to increase our chances of a higher rank we need many sites that link back to us, anything applies myspace, other forums(in signatures), blogs, LJs, etc so if possible could guys put a link to PF in your myspaces at least? I know that some people have banners and such, but Search engines dont care much about them, we need normal/plain text links so adding a http://www.paramorefans.com in myspace or any of the above mentioned sites would help us alot. calciumwaste Posted April 15, 2007 Report Share Posted April 15, 2007 so i learned about this in one of my classes, and having any links to your site helps a little, but it boosts your ranking more if the links come from a site that is a "hub" or "source" for the subject. so what you really want is to get a link to PF.com on Paramore's website or myspace. or spam their comments. In order to join, you need to post links to PF and then send us the links to prove that you actually posted them. If you're on Facebook, go ahead and message our group over there with a link to your facebook with the PF link in it. You must post the link in 3 different places in order to be added to the group. You can also post links on myspace, bebo, buzznet, and other social netowrking sites AS WELL AS message boards.
