Chriss
^ I've tried a little while I was up at school and had access to a set, but my mom would never let me get my own, so I stuck to mostly hand percussion and orchestral stuff. I play mostly guitar and bass now, but I still respect Zac's drumming. Haha, and of course I have a meet and greet. How else would I be able to talk to Zac? I'm stoked. The Drummer
Oh! wow! Sweetawesome! Yeah, have you tried covering some of the drumming? I can get 2 down from the Riot album...not perfect of course. Do you have a meet and greet pass?!?! I can transcribe a song if you'd like. *if you read sheet music*
Howie
He uses a DW 9002 http://www.dwdrums.com/pedals/9000Pedals.htm Very nice looking and i'm pretty sure, a very good double. I just bought myself a Gibraltar Avenger II....this is gonna be fun to learn... ^ I've tried a little while I was up at school and had access to a set, but my mom would never let me get my own, so I stuck to mostly hand percussion and orchestral stuff. Did you win it? Or..like special perks? You need to get back into drumming. I did the hand percussion/orchestral stuff in high school also. I can transcribe a song if you'd like.*if you read sheet music* Of course I can. Decode please?
travel_hymn
Chriss is in the Paramore fan club. And if you're in the fan club, you're eligible for M&G. She got picked. I don't know how people are chosen though.
Harry
Thanks for the info Jedd, much appreciated. I'm actually not a drummer, the extent of my skills go to being able to hold a few basic 4/4, 5/4 and 6/8 patterns down. I'm a guitarist first and a bassist second, but despite that I'm one of those people that is just really interested in the gear a band uses, be it the vocalists gear, drummer or whatever. I want to find out what mics were used to mic up the drums on each album. I doubt anyone here knows, but it'd be very interesting for me to know anyway. Chriss
He uses a DW 9002 I knew you'd know. Thanks! Chriss is in the Paramore fan club. And if you're in the fan club, you're eligible for M&G. She got picked. I don't know how people are chosen though. Actually, I didn't get picked. My friend Dan (Sefirosu) did, and he was allowed to bring a guest, so he's bringing me. Most fan club m&g's are chosen completely at random. You tell them what shows you're going to, and they randomly pick 10 people who haven't had a m&g recently.
travel_hymn
Wellll, I didn't know that. And that's cool. I need to join the Fan Club. I want to meet Paramore.
The Drummer
Of course I can. Decode please? haha the one Paramore song (pre-bne) that I didn't learn. I'll transcribe it for you though, might be in a few days or a week. Drumline season = busy busy life. Here's two songs I did awhile ago: http://paramorefans.com/boards/showthread.php?t=11766 http://paramorefans.com/boards/showthread.php?t=11561

I don't read much on audio gear though.. I just know he uses Shure mics. If you post pictures of Zac's set (mic-ed) on http://www.pearldrummersforum.com they can easily answer that question for you. But if you need any info on drumming, just ask. I'm obsessed

Chriss
I like how every so often, this thread comes back to life. Anybody know which snare head Zac uses? I know it's Remo, but I don't know anything more specific. I'd like to buy one and have the band sign it in April, and if I can buy something more specific than just the first Remo head I find, that'd be awesome. Here's an awesome picture, btw. Wish I knew who took it: PS - The snare head in this picture is not what he currently uses.
