Pretty grim forensic science, but it fascinates me and Reichs characterizes everyone and everything so well. Everyone keeps being like oh no way Patricia Cromwell owns her- nahhh. I love it when a writer who's supposed to be "second best" actually turns out to be far better than the one who's considered top of their field. It's kinda boring and easy to describe: A Girl falls in love with a boy, her mother's kinda busy at her work at an Aids help station and the girl and the boy are having sex for the first time.
