arrrrr x matey Posted October 25, 2008 Report Share Posted October 25, 2008 i know i already made a thread sorta dealing with this, but i couldnt find it. as you probably know by now, my friend and i are in the works of making a GSA club in my school. we did alot of planning, wrote a proposal, and today had a meeting with the vice principal about it. who absolutely loves it. he thinks its going to through the school board. but what he also said was that, just for our own sake, that we should look at other school's GSA's and see what they do [[for more ideas]] soo does anyone know what their school does? and/or can i have a site to your school? if you dont wanna post it on here just PM it to me. i just wanna check out the club part of the site. thank you. arrrrr x matey Posted October 25, 2008 Author Report Share Posted October 25, 2008 it depends on where you go. i mean, some places are TERRIBLE other places are pretty accepting. i know my school for example, i thought we were fine, but then for sociology we had to do a survey thing about this kind of discrimination, and some of the results we found were just terrible. things like "HATRED" "STAY AWAY FROM ME FREAKS!" etc. but then you had other ppl that were like "who cares? they're still the same person" and we know a bunch of ppl who would like to come out but are too afraid to. the clubs just a good idea Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
