I'm considering trying to go... but its like 4 hours away and i would have to drive home that night so i dunno. we will see.

haha i didnt even know about this poster when i went to barnes and noble yesterday and just happened to check out a rock sound magazine.

i paid nearly $8 for it but i got two posters so i'll be ok.

I'd imagine that it would be best to have all of the videos in at least a few weeks before christmas, in order to give people time to put everything together and to allow for mailing. Hopefully it won't be a problem for anyone considering that gives us like, almost two months to get it done. =)

ill volunteer to put everything together on a dvd...i have mac software for it so the dvd can have a menu and everything.

 

Maybe we should split the jobs up too...like have someone put the compilation video together and someone else put the fan videos together. then i can put it all together on a dvd.

 

Does that sound like a good idea or no?

Im not sure about how we are gonna decide what clips go into the compilation vid...

Maybe everyone should find a video clip that they would like to go into the compilation and post a link to it in here, then whoever is putting them all together can choose the best ones to use and make the video?

Would be nice if someone with like vegas video, FCP, or some mac software could throw it together and make it look NICE... since everyone has windows movie maker

If anyone wants I can make an example video using a few entries if you guys are willing to make them early, just to see if it would be acceptable for everyone. I mean it would be kinda simple with the program that i have but it would work.

so now we need to figure out who can make the dvd. i think i might be able to do it...or if fergie wants to.

and if anyone wants to make the compilation video to go with it. also if anyone wants to volunteer their fav. clips of hayley for the video.

I would like to help with the creation of this thing any way that I can, but I only have Windows Movie Maker to work with. I dunno if that would be good enough.

i can make a one minute vid with my digital camera.

that would probably be perfect. i think one minute should be like the limit for how long each entry can be. Or maybe two minutes depending on how many people actually make them.

if we cant get alot of video entries...maybe we can make a video with clips from the beginning to recent of hayley. like interviews and live shows

Yea ive thought about making a compilation video of hayley and then we could put it with the fan videos just to make the dvd a bit longer and i think it would be a neat idea.

but first we should figure out how many people can definitely make a video of themselves for this project, so we can decide if it will be enough to make it worth doing.

I think if we did the dvd thing we'd only get 3-4 max entries. It'd be impossible for people with no means to record anything to put it up. =/

yea... thats why Im thinking that unless we get a decent amount of entries, we will have to come up with something else to do.

yeah that is true...i think the dvd idea is great, even if it was on the spot. If we can get enough people to do it, that would be even better.

Everyone seems to like the dvd, but we do have plenty of time so if anyone else has other ideas please post them and we can maybe vote on what we wanna do. If there are no other ideas, then maybe we should just go with the dvd because it would be awesome. =)

And alyssa the reason for having a fan book along with it would be for those who dont have audio on their cameras to be able to participate... but Im sure if you really wanted you can find someone who has a camera you could use to make the video.

If alot of people are willing to make video messages, i would be more than happy to put them all together if nobody else wants to. But I'm thinking it would be hard to make an actual dvd from this because most people's cameras will only take 640x480 avi videos, which Im not even sure can be converted and put onto a dvd. And then we still have to figure out who is gonna send all of this stuff to hayley.

That would be really interesting to make a DVD or something where instead of people just writing all the messages in a book, we could make a video. But I think that because not everyone has the ability to record themselves we could have a birthday book along with a DVD so that people who do have cameras with audio can make them if they want to. It would be awesome.

 

 

I've also thought about making a compilation video before, using live footage of paramore throughout the years and sort of make a tribute video or w/e. haha. We could always put that on the dvd as well, I think it would be pretty cool.

im glad you liked them. I cant stand the audio from my camera.

I showed some of my vids from cleveland to my mom and she was like, "oh wow that band sounds absolutely terrible! i dont know how you can listen to that crap!" and I was like noooo its just the stupid camera has horrible audio, they are awesome! i dont think she believes me though. =/

yea i download all of people's videos from youtube with keepvid.com. I have like hundreds of vids from this tour alone. =)

she did have to change mics at once cause the one on the piano was too low or something.

The mic that she was using for most of the show stopped working and was making a loud popping sound from the monitor right next to me. So she had to switch to the mic on the piano. But yea i dont think that mic was on at the time she came out during wolf in sheeps clothing.

aww kerrie your pics are so freakin awesome... you had such a better spot than me. I was waiting at the merch table for someone to come so i could buy raffle tickets and then i ended up being way to the right of center. youre so lucky.

and i noticed that old lady they let in front row with a big ass camera... i was like wtf. she didnt wait in line for 9 hours like we did or pay $60 for meet and greet tickets to get that spot! haha oh well.

The thread about the show in nashville is becoming way too long and everything that people have posted from the show is buried in about 50 pages of nonsense. So Im posting the links for my videos here so they are accessible.

If anyone else has vids that got lost in that thread you can post em in this one too so we can have em all in one place instead of a bunch of different threads. If you want to. I mean it would be convenient that way. =)
