Aw thanks! Concert photography can be really hard.

I've been dying to be able to get a photography pass... but unfortunately I havent been able to. I'll take about 150 pictures and only 10 to 20 will turn out good because the stupid tall people that always happen to stand in front of me move right when I try and take a shot. haha.

might be harsh but i wouldnt hold your breath, they are very hard to come by

alot of the time bands just dont want to be photographed so will refuse offers plus when they do accept them its usually with people they work with before or who have a good rec

my advice would be to just ask away, no harm in it, justplug away - eventually a break will come, just get as many contacts as you can, befriend existing ones and make new ones, ive got a few friends who do this shit and thats how they got their break

id just go to the gig tbh, i saw 40 bands during my last exam period at school (and that was me cutting back!) and i still got my college results for my first choice, you need gigs as a stress reliever

and i agree about asking for a "photoshoot", definitely word it as best you can, the worst they can say is 'no sorry', what's the harm in that, least you tried

I've gone head to head with a member on here and I absolutely can't STAND her. She's been making up stupid stuff and had the nerve to PM me a rude message as well. She also gave me bad rep, and SHE is the one wondering into the thread of a band she dislikes, how stupid can you get??? I just joined and already I'm being attacked on here. That was NOT what I was looking forward to. All I tried to do was defend the band I know and love and she had to go and be a bitch!
