  1. You can buy the MVI from Amazon UK now, where u can use the normal payment methods. I bought it from the US website ages ago, because it didnt look as if they were gonna sell in uk!

Strange it costed less to import it from the US .. about £10, but still, 15.99 is alright cos i guess it should be quicker.

It's in stock, so u'd be better off going there. FBR store takes ages, amazon US doesn't take too long.

  2. FYI: This is great quality but not HD. High definition is defined as 1280x720p and up. This video is a high bitrate 720x480 (standard definition) encode with some sharpening filters applied (I assume).

Yeah I was gonna say this too. When I played it I was like... hang on a minute, this is the same as the DVD! Like u say, someones just upscaled the resolution. You can still see the effects of the mpeg2 encoding, which u see on the dvd.

^ Willis, the Riot MVI dvd album is good, this will have the video on there too.

  3. Doesn't seem quite right that they are definiatly gonna do a whole US tour after, I see what you guys mean^.

I understand they have personal stuff to sort out, and it doesnt always happen at the best of times - but some earlier cancellation notice would have been nice though, because its already been postponed. I'm sending my portsmouth tickets back, even though I got quite gd seats. I can't be bothered to mess about booking, cancelling holiday at work - i'll just go to london again instead, cheaper too.

  4. 2005 *looks at join date*. Can't remember if joined the forum straight away.. close enough I suppose. I remember the days when u could download pressure and emergency for free from fbr/paramore website.. haha and all of the vids at the time.. and just think now, u have to pay! Became a fan of paramore when I saw a message about it being a "band of the week" somewhere. Think it was on bandaids or something.

Oh another thing to mention, ticket cost Give It A Name Introduces £5 (cheaper than the train fare!!). 2008 - £16.

It's worth the extra cost tho.

They were playing local shows in '04? Cool..

  5. Thanks, I've had a look on livejournal. I think what they should have said in the email is - you can order the london cd, but we'd recommend the best recording from manchester..or something along those lines. At least give us the option to order the london one.

Ah well. I'm glad I just went for the CD on it's own. I ordered the single CD with bonus track off hmv already.. cheaper.. like £1.49 lol.

  6. I agree with the many posts above! I ordered it online because I didn't wanna wait around after the gig. It finished quite late anyway, so I couldn't stay behind really cos had to get train home! Got home about 12.40 in the end, not too bad.

I've taken up the offer of the Manchester Cd too.. but would have liked the original London one! I haven;t heard the london one yet, but from where I was, Hayley sounded great - My Heart at the end was especially gd! I thought the mics n guitars were all balanced out quite well at this gig too. I found at a couple of the previous gigs, Hayley's voice seemed 2 be a bit drowned out by the guitars during some songs.

  7. I took a seat about 10 min before NFG, Thank you for the timing which was posted! - they were 10 min behind, but pretty close!! Gd i didnt have to wait through 2 support bands for an hour or so!! NFG were alright, i'm glad they played 'Kiss Me'. Also liked the Jimmy eat world cover by Paramore too, that was gd... and Decoy.. it was all good lol.

    Thanks again.

Btw where did u find the set times?
