  1. Wow, it's been so long since I posted in here.

They are playing in London this evening. There were still tickets available and I was hoping to go. The show is in Brixton. I've been there before and didn't feel safe. I really did debate getting tickets but I wouldn't have been able to get there and back, plus I have absolutely no money until Friday.

I love smaller venues and I've no doubt that people will enjoy the show. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up on Youtube. Hopefully they play a show a little closer to home next time. Maybe one day they'll be big enough to play the O2 Arena. That's literally half an hour by car from my home.

"Going to Hell" has been on repeat since it came out in March. I absolutely love that album. I play it in my car all of the time.

  2. Hello! :) I haven't been on here for a long time. I hope you're all well.

I wasn't happy about this when I first heard as re-releases are my biggest musical pet peeve. Most of the time there is no need for a re-release. "Paramore" certainly isn't short of tracks. I was hoping for a live DVD. Alas, that never happened. What we got instead were a few live tracks. I was hoping for a DVD but I'm happy enough with the live tracks. I especially love the way that they have used the outro from "Part II" as the intro instead and changed the arrangement. It sounds slightly off, but I like it.

I really like "Native Tongue" and "Escape Route" though I have heard those before now. I really like "Tell Me It's Okay" too. I adore the new version of "Hate To See Your Heart Break" with Joy Williams. I was/am a big Civil Wars fan and she has a beautiful voice. I had no idea that she and Paramore had known each other for a long time.

I'm disappointed that there isn't a physical release. I don't like downloads, especially from iTunes as Apple have been known before now to remove the item from store, which also removes it from your library despite the fact that you've paid for it. A physical copy actually belongs to you.

  3. Did you all enjoy it?

I'd have loved to have gone! :) I'm hoping to go to the next one as apparently it's been confirmed that it's happening. It's a LOT of money though (particularly if you don't live in the states). I'd be flying from the UK over to the US etc.

I've seen a few videos on Youtube and it looked amazing.

  4. I saw The Pretty Reckless support Evanescence and they were much better live than I had been expecting. I think I'm like a lot of people who aren't sold on Taylor's image but it's obviously done for effect and it works, because everyone remembers it and talks about it. I prefer to concentrate on the music and I'm looking forward to hearing what they come up with on the new album.

I like that they are still quite quiet, if you will, on the commercial front. The ticket prices are so cheap :D That's great for fans. I find sometimes that the bands releasing their tickets cheaply end up being the better shows than those who allow management to decide the ticket prices. I've been to some great shows where the ticket prices haven't been very much (Best Coast, Kasabian, Paramore, Laura Marling to name but a few).

I am very much looking forward to hearing the new material. I loved their first album. I'm beginning to wonder how much of the material that has been released since 2012 will be featured on the new album. (Kill Me, Going To Hell, Burn, Heaven Knows, Follow Me Down). That's a lot of music to be releasing before announcing a set-in-stone album release date.
