This petition was created by WSPCA International ...a very legit organization against animal cruelty. So with enough signatures, it can be presented to the Brazilian congress and hopefully stop them from overturning the law.

To be honest, I don't get the logic behind them wanting to overturn the law :/ I'm a huge lover of all animals and any sort of cruelty to them makes me so angry. Some people must have rocks for hearts ....bastards!

The ONLY nationwide law making animal cruelty a crime is under threat, affecting all pets and all farm animals. Please help ensure it is not overturned!

Some politicians view animal protection as inconvenient, rather than essential for a compassionate society. They are campaigning hard for this bill. We need you to help us ensure animal cruelty remains criminal.

If Bill 4548 passes:

Brazil will have no set nationwide penalties for animal abuse, meaning cruelty to dogs, cats, horses and many other species will be consequence free.

Animal lovers and advocates who report a dog being beaten or a horse being starved will see little or no action taken. These acts of cruelty and more will no longer be criminal offences throughout Brazil.

I love these guys. Discovered them over the past couple of weeks. They're currently supporting Kelly Clarkson on her European tour. Saw them open for her 4 times and fell in love. also got to meet them after one of the shows. nicest bunch of guys and Will has an incredible voice!

Yeah I know very few people that have never at least tried them, also. I just see what they can do to your health, and don't want to do that to myself. plus they stink & cost a ton. So that's incentive enough for me to stay away from them haha!

 

 

Thanks! Your repulsion to cigarette smoke is your sensitivity and intolerance to nicotine. like how some people get hammered on one beer. And getting family and friends to stop is alot easier said than done. For me it was a personal decision to stop smoking, and it has to be for your family and friends aswell. In other words If there isn't a conscious effort to quit, then they wont quit.

I've never been a smoker. Not even tried them. Just being around second hand smoke makes me want to hurl. I can't even breathe in the same room as it. I've tried countless times to get family/friends to stop, but to no avail. I'll keep trying

I've seen Kelly 4 times in the last 2 weeks. Got to meet her in Dublin on Feb 5th [my 2nd time to meet her] she is THE sweetest person ever. so friendly and nice, she's so freakin tiny you just wanna put her in your pocket, haha. Seriously, seeing her sing live is like a spiritual experience haha! Her voice is out of this world!

I'm very much hoping she'll be doing a North American tour this summer. I'm in Canada for a year, so it'd be perfect

I had never seen them before they supported Paramore. But I loved them live. they had amazing energy on stage and really got the crowd into it!
