  1. HAHA WOW. I asked this question about a year and half ago cuz I wanted to make the kid some shoes. I design and custom color shoes. I had no idea what size she was and I hadn't met her yet so I posted this question.

Since then I HAVE spoken to her about it and made both her, Josh and Jeremy shoes. I wasn't trying to be weird or anything haha!

  2. I haven't been on in a while, forever really, and I don't usually post anything, but this thread caught my attention.

Since we are all sharing our opinions I guess that I'll share mine.

    A. They have changed, but that was expected, and if it wasn't it should have been. In my opinion, I don't see their change as a negative, they are growing up. Maybe it's because I am the same age as all of them, but it feels like I am growing up with them, not that I am growing away from them or them away from me for that matter.

    B. I LOVED awkif but I enjoyed Riot! as well. I also like all the new Twilight stuff, even though I'm not super into twilight. Hayley's voice is maturing wonderfully and the bands music as a whole is also maturing. Sure it's no awkif but can one really expect it to be? That record was what started the love of Paramore for all of us, so it's a record that will always be hard to top.

    C. I can honestly say that I disagree about the live shows. Sure more production has been put into them as the venues grow larger and larger, but that's just something that happens with success. The Final Riot was one of the best shows I've ever seen them play (and I've seen a ton). Everything about that show was amazing.

Yeah some of the fans that weren't there back in the day are kind of annoying with there behavior at recent shows, but that's hardly the bands fault.

    D. Paramore still really cares about the fans. Truly. Yeah they can't chill with fans after shows like they used to, but that's just because they have become SO popular. Hayley especially really tries to keep that connection with the fans. She still posts on livejournal and I remember recently she came out of Jimmy Kimmel, after playing two shows AND having a signing, to sign autographs for the fans.

In conclusion, I guess I just want to express that I still love these guys to death and love the music they are making. This is not meant to be offensive in any way, I just wanted to provide my perspective on the bands "change."

  3. I'm gonna stick up for Josh. Sure there are some bands out there that shred some seriously complicated solos and such. But that's not his type of art. His is more simple. It's like a painting. Some people are really technical and some rather simple in their execution. Just because it's simple doesn't make it weak. I find simple is sometimes more pleasing to the ear.

  4. Well, from my experience, she was really quite hoarse on the riot! tour. When I saw her recently at bamboozle and in bakersfield she sounded absolutely flawless. I think it just has to do with the amount of rest she gets.

She's so stinkin good she amazes me even when she's hoarse...

I like the raspy voice sometimes.

But I've been, idk, worried about the fact that she sings almost every night...and it's scary to think that she might "lose her voice" and not be able to sing for the rest of her life.

    Julie Andrews has that, right?

God forbid Hayley gets that. I absolutely love Julie Andrews and it's really sad that she can't sing anymore.

If Hayley couldn't sing anymore I don't know what I'd do.

  5. If you want the front, you need to get there in the a.m. Try 7 a.m. for the very front. The thing with Paramore fans is that EVERYONE pushes and tries to get to the front, so don't expect to be able to push your way there, unless your strong as hell. Even then, you can only get so far.

That's how my experience has always been at least.

  6. This was the set list at the show last sunday in Bakersfield:

Let the Flames Begin (With extended beginning and end)

    Emergency

    Stop This Song (Lovesick Melody)

    Here We Go Again

    That's What You Get

    Pressure

For A Pessimist I'm Pretty Optimistic

    Miracle

    When It Rains (acoustic)

    Crushcrushcrush

    Born For This

    Whoa

    Misery Business

  7. The set list surprised me a little bit. I thought they would get to play more. I thought they would at least play as long as Jimmy. Then again it makes sense, everyone is there to see Jimmy so they only know the Paramore "hits." No emergency surprised me though. And no here we go again with that's what you get??? How sad.

The back drop doesn't bother me. I personally like it better when bands don't do to much with the backdrops. I enjoy the performance more.

  8. About a year and a half ago maybe longer...I don't know...anyway my friend wanted me to listen to this song. She wanted to sing "my hero" by the Foos for her high school and wanted me to listen to how this girl did it. I listened to it and heard Hayley sing and was like crap!!

Ever since then it's been non-stop. The first actual Paramore song I heard was never let this go.

  9. I had something longer but my computer deleted it :(

In a WAY generalized explanation I would have to say that they basically mean the world to me. I guess the fact that they are all roughly around my age has a big impact. I LOVE Hayley's voice and I think that the emotion in her voice goes along extremely well with the music the dudes play. I can also listen to their songs every day and not get sick of them. In fact I HAVE to listen to them every day haha.

It sounds lame but they basically write the soundtrack to my life haha. And their live shows are incredible!

    PARAMORE = <3
