  1. i'm going to be on tour with my friend's band holiday parade all summer. let me know if you're anywhere near any of the shows, and please come hang out!!!!!! it's going to be a great tour plus i would love to meet some of you. the first dates are with permanent me & the years gone by & are on the myspace. there are only east coast dates up for now, but i promise we're coming everywhere so keep checking! :) see you soon.

  2. HHAHA I KNOW! i don't think this was well planned at all.

the prices for this tour are ridiculous. $15 isn't alot of money, but for this show it is, especially considering who the openers are. for example, the cartel & anberlin tours going on now have prices of about $12...much bigger bands with much more well known openers. don't even get me started on the vip tickets haha. oh well, i'm going to suck it up & go anyways.

  3. oh i feel helpful!

    July 05

    - 7.5.05 ??, SC ?? Copeland, Acceptance

columbia, sc @ new brookland with copeland...no acceptance (holy crap i wish cause that would have been pretty awesome)

-On Tour with My American Heart, BEDlight For BlueEYES (August 30th- September 10th)

they played here in columbia @ new brookland on 08/30...first date of their first real headlining tour, even though they don't count it. i feel SO LAME for even remembering this hahah

edit: this is another reason why i'm sad they're not coming to sc/nc on this tour. they used to really often!!

and my rolling stone still gets sent to my parent's house so i'll have to check that out tomorrow.

  4. That's the way to look at if it you care about sales.

    i'm guessing you downloaded it.

bottom line is the music industry is about numbers. a band could be the best in the world, but if they don't sell, you're not going to see more albums or them getting promoted. & bands DO make $ off of cd sales. not alot, but they do. they make more indirectly i guess. high numbers get you on bigger tours, give you the opportunity for mtv & things like that for exposure.

i could go on & on & on, but you get it. it's a big deal.
