It went Platinum while they were making The Final Riot as it's there is a story in the 40 days of Riot! about Hayley walking in on their surprise party early.

So, summer of 2008 sounds about the right time to me.

And to answer another question, The Final Riot! did go gold.

It's great to hear that Brand New Eye's went Gold. I have also read it is their fastest selling album to date. So I have high hopes that in another couple to few months it will go Platinum as well:p

It doesn't make any since, other then they could have entered into some kind of agreements / relationship with FBR after the whole twilight soundtrack. I dunno.

This blu-ray release has been confirmed and announced. Just not by FBR yet. It can also be pre orderd from more then a dozen places already. Everything seems to point that this will happen, and it will be by summit.

I'll let you know when I hear back from FBR with the mail I shot them about this.

3. it says its being released by summit entertainment

I thought the same thing when I first read it. Especially after FBR saying it wouldn't happen.

But upon researching it more I have found a lot of information on it. It has been listed in catalogs/databases as available march 3rd, it has been listed on the blu-ray association page as an upcoming release.

It has a valid upc of 890039001419 that is registered to the final riot blu-ray.

And it is available for pre-order from many sources, amazon, best buy, barns & noble, wal*mart ext.

There is no question that this release is coming. It just hasn't been announced by FBR yet or mentioned on their page, bug give it time. Just give it time, summit only officialy announced this release a couple days ago.

I'm going to email FBR's web store to see if I can get some confirmation out of them today.

After FBR saying that there was no chance for a Blu-Ray Release back in late October / Early November it now seems that has all changed.

It seems as if the Final Riot will be released on Blu-Ray March 3rd supporting full 1080p High Definition, Dolby Digital 5.1 and an aspect ratio of 1.78:1.

On XM's 20 on 20 I have yet to hear Decode on the top 20 countdown. but they do play the song a lot in between countdowns. Now if only we can get them back on to the countdown, TWYG was always on the countdown right through mid November.

That sounds about right. It was also covered on fuses episode of d'Fused featuring paramore where they actually interviewed John Janick I think, or someone else form FBR. In anycase when he saw them he said something about "They are the real deal" and wanted to get them on the warp tour.

How well are they doing? I got their cd and loved it, but I have yet to hear any of their songs on the radio or see their video on tv. I'm hoping they will get more popular in the coming months.

Lol, I don't think I have any more votes left in me. And I don't think the battery on my laptop will hold up long enough. My house hasn't had power for 36 hours now and it may be a day or two longer before we get power back. On the bright side, at last it is possible to drive down our road now and get out of town. Her voice is actually growing on me. It's another sound that I really like.

After searching this forum, I was surprised there wasn't a thread here already for Lesley Roy.

She is a singer song writer from Ireland now living in New York who is described as a cross between Avril Lavigne and Melissa Etheridge.

I thought her single "I'm Going, I'm Gone" was ok to pretty good this past July and bought the single on iTunes then but didn't think much about it since until a couple days ago I heard her next single on XM Radio's 20 on 20. Her new single is called Unbeautiful. I liked it so much that I picked up the whole album on iTunes yesterday. It is apparently still fresh just coming out in late September.

But what surpizes me more then no talk about her on this forum so far, is the fact when searching google it's near impossible to come up with more then a handful of pictures of her or relevant articles / interviews. She's been out there for a few months now and you would think it would be easier to find information.

Anyways. Who hear has heard of Lesley Roy and heard her latest song Unbeautiful yet? Please share what you think of her / her music=)

Well, the weather is ok for now, but it is going to go down hill really fast tomorrow. We are looking at the possibility for now power for 3 to 5 days and tons of trees and power lines down making roads impassible.

Yeah, I gave up trying. Where not going to win this. Britney fans are crazy. We did very well and we should be proud.

So, the rumors say that Britney is ahead with 100 000 votes.

That number has been floating around since yesterday. Fuse has patched the trick people were using to get numbers early yesterday morning. NO ONE can see what the votes are right now, it's just speculation. Like a slipknot fan said on fuse's board, Britney fans are just making up those numbers to scare everyone else that they have nothing to fear about.

All we know at this time is nearly 500,000 votes in total have been cast between the two.

With those numbers in just 24 hours of voting, it is safe to say that Britney probably does have a comfortable lead do to cheating. As so far, it's taking Paramore a whole week to get 400,000 votes of their own in any round and we already know Britney Fans are capable of 600,000 votes in 2 hours if they wanted to.

All we can do is just vote, hope everyone else is on our side and see how this turns out.

Cheating is way to easy. Anything is possible for those who know what they are doing. I would never have any idea where to start. But apparently there is an automated voting script out there that votes for Britney that you just run on your computer and it self refreshes the pages and votes in the back ground=\

They're not going to show who's winning in this last round until they announce it on the show...or at least, that's my guess.

You are exactly right, and that is the plan, so you can't see how the other side is doing and cheat.

But unfortunately, there is already a trick that has been posted to force it to show current votes.
