Do Europeans consider traveling through other European countries to be basically the equivalent to Americans traveling from state to state? I mean I know there's obvious differences such as language changes etc... but if you're in an EU country, can you freely travel through other EU countries or is there a whole passport hassle and all that stuff? Just curious.
We consider it (mentally) to be like going between Mexico/America/Canada cause it is crossing borders/changing country. But, unless I'm mistaken, physically it's more like going between States (if you're going from one EU member country to another, well Schengen signatories, but there's a decent cross over of the two). Only passport hassle is with the UK and between non-EU (non-Schengen signatories) countries.

Happy to help however I can. There's nothing quite like following your favourite band across the country.

srsly?
When I get trained in this, we will meet up and have a duel.
Haha yup! I've done about two/three years in it. Way too rusty at it now haha.
I await your challenge, young one.

I confess I'm highly considering taking a sword fighting class
I've been trained in sword combat. trufax.

First six or so songs are fantastic. Tails off after then. The album could do with being a few songs shorter.

Yeah same, should really pay more attention. I thought you were just doing Manchester.
Agreed. One of the new songs, possibly Planetary, is an absolute fucking stormer. Got massive single written all over it. Would've preferred Honey to Destroya/Destroyer though.

Wait, you saw them last night too, Ross? Did you see Shannon?
No I didn't It never clicked with me that Shannon was going until she had already boarded her train so I had no way of getting in contact with her, otherwise I would've tried to meet her!

Geez Kailey, do you have to be so obnoxiously attractive all the time? I'm not even a chick and I feel a little insecure looking at you...

I didn't even know Newcastle had an airport. Would it be cheaper flying to one of the more commercial airports like Manchester then picking up an advance train ticket to Newcastle? Or am I completely underestimating the cost of Norwegian air travel?

My ticket for Monday still hasn't arrived in the post yet, time to phone up Ticketmaster and complain.

I always thought I saw Vegas live back in 2008. I'm gonna investigate. Could be wrong.
The Party Scene, Jasey Rae, Coffee Shop, Umbrella, Let It Roll, Six Feet, The Beach, Dear Maria, Shameless, Champagne. Could have sworn it was more than that, oh well.

Dude, that's bullshit.
I always hear the "Ohh it's just how it is, I can't gain weight because of my metabolism" thing, and you know what?
It's complete fucking bullshit.
I used to be quite skinny, and I hated it and wanted to do something about it. Now that I lift weights and eat, like properly eat, I realized what a bullshit excuse the "My metabolism is so high omfg!" thing was. Knowing I could actually do something about it and not have to be skinny for the rest of my life made me feel so much better.
I'm not exactly a tank yet (only been working out for 4 months, and the first few weeks I stumbled along with not much knowledge of what supplements to buy, how to do various exercises etc), and my upper body is still fairly slim because my long arms make it hard for me to really get good on bench press and develop a good upper body at a good pace (but nonetheless, my chest and arms are not as small as they used to be), but my upper legs are no longer the sticks they once were, and to an extent my calves are not that skinny anymore either.
I'm skinny but I'm not unhappy with it. I'm just as fit as the next guy, normally takes about a solid hour of football before I'm really exhausted and that's only if I'm playing on the wing. I earned black belts in three different martial arts weighing less than I do right now. My thighs and calves are, and I quote, "built like steel". Normally average about 27 press-ups in 30 seconds. The problem, with me, is that mostly all of the exercise I do is cardio-vascular based and, as such, less time is spent on muscle building/local muscular endurance which is why I look as skinny as I am.
I'm not entirely sure what my point is or where I'm going with it. I agree with Harry though, if you're not happy, do something about it. I guess what I was trying to say is that you shouldn't be unhappy about weighing less than anyone else cause you can still do everything these bigger guys can do. If you're really that unhappy with your weight then try to bulk up. Otherwise, do a Kurt Cobain and wear several layers of clothing to hide it for the rest of your life.

Something a little different from my normal "go listen to these bands but I know you never will" threads. Scranton, PA be the home of this excellent little indie rock band. I'd say it's musically comparable to early Manchester Orchestra but the lead singer sounds more like Anthony Ranieri of Bayside-fame. I'd say for fans of bands more like Now, Now, Every Children, Lydia, States et al but there's something there for the fans of general pop punk.
Some last.fm/youtube-y goodness for all y'all.

Bostonian pop-punk which emphasis on the punk more than pop. Keep This to Yourself is a contender for top ten of the year, solid stuff. For fans of the likes of The Movielife, Title Fight, Set Your Goals, Man Overboard etc..
Just leave some of this here.

I didn't find much between the US and Canadian border agents tbh. Both were as serious about their job as the other. There was one awesome guy at the airport (in Toronto) though who spoke to me about the Red Wings and Steve Yzerman, he was awesome.
