  1. I could be reading way too much into this, but is it just me or do the lyrics of this song seem a hell of a lot like a full-on anti-Josh assault?

    1. "Don't you ever wonder how we survive? Well now that your gone, the world is ours."

    2. "I'm not the villain, despite what you're always preaching."

Exactly what I thought. When I first heard it it stroke me, I was thinking, damn that sounds a bit like All We Know, lyrics-wise at some parts.

The song itself is really good, love the guitars, the overall flow and of course Hayley's voice is amazing, full of emotion as usual, and Jeremy rocked the bass. I must say I'm pretty impressed with Taylor's drum work, it's really awesome and fits the paramore layout just fine!

I was expecting the three of them to start going downhill, but it looks like they're "free" now to write and play whatever they want, which is amazing. I had lost hope for paramore, but now I'm pretty convinced that it'll end up magnificent. My only worry now is I'm hoping the whole joshing you around thing is over, and they move on to the better future!

  2. Their best album yet, in my opinion. It is really different, like RIOT! was from AWKIF. They have changed, had a lot of things to deal with, as a band, as friends, and this is the outcome. I love it and listen to it 5 times a day, no joke, and at least. One thing, though... Where are the songs about love? :P, just kidding! The next album (Nah, I don't expect it before a while) will be more directed towards another subjet, BNE was about growing up and friendship. That's why people might find it either boring, or weird.

It's much more mature, yet it still sounds a lot more like AWKIF then RIOT!. The vocals and lyrics from our beloved Hayley are better then ever, delivering a meaningful message on every single line, while being direct, but not too much, so that almost anyone can identify through the songs.

A hell of a masterpiece there, just like the previous albums. I'm looking forward for the next one, while not being pressed.

Best song off BNE would totally be Careful.

  3. I think I know what you mean. Even though I couldn't stand the music back then, their music videos always made me go "damn, who IS that girl?"

When I see her pictures, it's not like with a model or a movie star where I'll just start drooling. With Hayley I feel like I look into the eyes of someone I've known my whole life. There's NOTHING that would make her appear distant or somehow divine, just familiarity and comfort beaming everywhere. Its...strange, to say the least. I guess I've never come across someone that projects so much warmth and lifeforce around herself.

Damn, the sauna got me all talkative again. 300 posts, here I come!

    Exactly what I meant ;)

  4. As a few people stated, she's cuter then she's sexy. But yeah, she's really sexy. A woman that shines the way she does is always appealing. Even though "sexy" definitely isn't the first word that comes into my mind when I think of how awesome she is. I'd simply say :

    Gorgeous.

  5. Ok, this probably has been asked many times, but I've been looking everywhere on google for like 10 pages for the photoshoot of hayley with the purple shirt.

    Here's one of them:

I know its probably the most popular photoshoot, but I rly cant find it, and I' seriously pissed off right now :)
