I've been to quite a few concerts and a variety I'd say. As far as meeting people, I have pictures with Paramore and Daphne Loves Derby and an autographed cd by Mashlin and Gatsbys American Dream but I wouldn't say I really met them since I only said more than one sentence to maybe two of them haha.

Shows I was supposed to go to:

1. Paramore, Straylight Run, Plain White T's, Simple Plan - Got postponed to a time I couldn't go since I was commuting from school which is far enough away for me to not be able to go to the new date if it was on an inconvenient day of the week.

2.The Academy Is..., Acceptance, Panic! at the Disco, Hellogoodbye - couldn't go to this for a lot of reasons. It was actually on campus too only I was no longer on campus.

Anyone here read any Chuck Palahniuk books?

I haven't read either of those books mentioned but I am almost finished with what I'm currently reading with nothing to read afterward so maybe if I still have time at that point to read for the sake of wanting to read I'll check it out!

I don't know what number person I am but I do have an Ibook so count me in - the smaller size one however big that is. I use my pc desktop waaaay more though so even though I've had the mac for over a year I still don't know how to use it very well. At the time, I got it because it was cute, small, and cheaper than other laptops haha but I like it!

Glad you figured it out since I didn't know how to do it on a mac until just now. Just had to control click on the folder and go to create archive! That's pretty cool! I have a mac also but I'm not used to it at all. Thanks for separating, zipping, and uploading by the way!

I just learned how to make a zip folder! You can right click or go to File and go to New just like you would make a new regular folder but instead of going to folder you go down to Compressed (zipped) Folder and then once you have the new folder put the files in it. Or you could always download a program like winzip.

and also this seems worth mentioning because I don't know how many people know this but you can convert to mp3 in Itunes or even just import cds and music as mp3 on Itunes. You go to Edit, Preferences, Advanced, Importing, and then change "Import Using" to MP3 Encoder and from then on as long as it is set to that it will import to your library as mp3 or when you right click on a song in your library you can select "Convert Selection to MP3" and it will do so. But if you want to change it back and have those m4a things change Import Using back to AAC audio files.

I like how my desktop is still the same one that I posted back at the beginning of this thread in October haha.

oh good to know they got a new female vocalist because that male/female combination was something I really liked in some of the tracks! I think I might go see them play soon.

oh kcemedia! I was actually thinking about posting that. I have so much media from there. There are some great live tracks of unreleased songs from various shows that a lot of people don't know about, some songs of which she'll be recording for possibly the third album like "Don't," "All I Know," and "Come Here." Some great cover songs too, wahoo!

I actually didn't become as big of a fan as I am now until after I saw her sing live. I didn't even own both albums at that point but now I've got both albums, some dvds, and a couple more concerts later I'm a happy fan

oooooooooh I guess that's why they didn't play at the show I went to. That's too bad. I would have liked to see them play.

That's funny because when The Lashes singer was pulling people up on stage I was thinking how I would never want to lose front row for that right before Paramore was going to play, that is if I was in the front row. I'm not really a go on stage kind of girl anyways haha. Nice pictures and everything by the way! I'm anxious for my friends to send me their pictures from the show since they brought cameras and I didn't.

I've had "Between the Heart and the Synapse" for a while but I haven't listened to it very much since I got it. I'm going to make a point to listen to it soon though since I haven't.

I've been listening to their cd a lot lately too. I love it.

Well, I was going to go to the show tomorrow (well actually today) in San Diego. And I was going to report back about it afterward, but alas luck is not on my side. I love how I just got home at 1:00 am after taking the train home for five and a half hours to see the show and I just happened to check the simple plan website at 1:30 am to a notice that the concert tomorrow is postponed. Ah well, I'll hope for another tour soon. So anyways, hopefully whoever ends up going to the next show will be able to report back to us all!

I'm going to the October 22 date which if I'm not mistaken is the first show of this simple plan tour. I'm thinking I'll probably take a camera even though I'm kind of scared to.

I sort of play guitar. I've never played it consistently though so I've never really learned too much. It would be nice to though.

I've always liked them a lot but I haven't listened to either cd for a while now. There is just always good new music to listen to so when I've had a cd for a while it tends to not get listened to that much. I should listen to them again though because they are great cds.

I've listened to them on purevolume before and I remember thinking the songs were pretty good. I should go and listen again though sometime.
