Matty_poo
you all have to download "Liquor Store" especially since they aren't allowed to perform it anymore, it's amazing, everytime i hear it i dance.
set_it_off
Why aren't they allowed to perform it anymore? And I do agree about their amazingness. I knew one song of theirs when they opened for New Found Glory/Good Charlotte on the Civic Tour, but I've LOVED them ever since.
Matty_poo
they aren't allowed to perform it because it was actually written by Reel Big Fish and they told them not to play it anymore or they'd sue, which is sad because they do it much better. set_it_off
That's probably why they asked them to stop! Boo RBF!!!
Matty_poo
haha yeah the funny part is that LTJ wasn't making any money off it (as far as i know) yet they stopped when asked, guess they got respect yo
set_it_off
Yes. That's important. That's probably one of the reasons that they've been around so long.
Matty_poo
exactly, for those who don't know LTJ has been around for wel over 10 years, i think this is like year 12 or

Matty_poo
um, and you say that...why? lol i mean dude, go listen to a billion ernies, they're a catholic ska band
set_it_off
Ska is for the devil. I listen to them because they make awesome music. I could really care less about whatever kind of "label" they have or what people perceive them to be. You could say the same about Paramore. Are they Christian rock? Are they emo? Who cares?! It's amazing music and that's what matters.
Matty_poo
i know, exactly, and i just used A.B.E. as an example in case he was saying it literally was for the devil lol.
JoePie
...wow. Talk about picking me apart. I'm just njot a fan of ska. It all sounds the same to me. A few average punks songs strung together with the reject brass section from the high school band.
Matty_poo
sorry didn't mean to soun rude i apologize, but yeah thats only third wave ska you're talking about.
JoePie
...I wouldn't know the difference between any number wave ska and my arse.
Matty_poo
apparently you would if you knew that 3rd wave was punk rock influenced because the original ska was just like a more dancable reggae
