Merry Christmas, Paramore! Fundraiser
You may remember a couple years ago when PF.com decided to raise money for Toys For Tots in Paramore’s name in place of sending the band actual gifts. We raised about $350, and it felt awesome to do some good for the holidays. Now it’s time to help another fan with her goal…
This year, a wonderful fan named Briddey (from omghayley.tumblr.com) is doing a Christmas fundraiser for Love146, a charity very close to Paramore’s hearts. Her goal is $1,000, and we believe that if the entire Paramore fan community chips in, this goal is a piece of cake. “I think we can all agree that Paramore have had an amazing year this year, releasing their fourth album, playing across the globe and just generally proving to the world that they are far from dead.
So I was thinking of how we can congratulate the band and send them a Christmas present from everyone, every single fan. I know that they love the charity, Love146, so I basically put the two together and thought that we as a fanbase can donate money to the charity on behalf of Paramore fans. I’ll be going to their Australian shows early next year, so I can give them a Christmas card with how much we’ve all raised inside it (I will find a way to give this to the band if it kills me).
