My friend has been bugging me to read the mortal instruments for a while, so I guess I will probably try that! I might try and get hold of another jodi picoult book - I read my sister's keeper and handle with care a few years back. I do enjoy fictional medical based books.

I don't want to go for anything too hard to read though because, aside from TFIOS and 'life of pi' I haven't read a book (that isn't a textbook) in about 2 years. bad, I know!

I read the whole thing in less than 24 hours. I liked it but it was a little too predictable in parts.

Not sure what to read next! Anyone got any recommendations?

I try and remind myself that you can't really tell how old people are on the Internet, and younger fans don't always see the full picture of what spreading hate anonymously can do. It doesn't make it excusable, but it at least stops me wanting to yell at them quite so often.

PFC has been closed down (whether temporarily or not, we don't know. All I know is that I tried to log on to the PFC boards this morning and got re-directed to .net). I tried logging into .net but my username is mimi_29 apparently instead of my PFC username (mimicole).

 

I don't know what to do. I know that we (PFC) have a little badge against our name but I don't know if I'm gonna lose mimicole as a username.

I think you can change it under 'account settings'. I'm sure I've seen people do that!
