you wont know wasn't last?! but how is jesse supposed to strum his guitar and lay it on the ground WHEN THE LAST SONG IS ACOUSTIC?!

  3. I hate mediafire haha.

What was used in the tracking process (if you know the info anyway).

Really interested to know what mic preamps, mics etc people are using for acoustic guitar tracking these days.

Info about vocal tracking would be cool too.

Not sure on most of his gear, its a pro studio, hd protools system. Vocal mic use was a telefunken. First time he'd used one. Pulled it down from my dads old tape recording studio vocal booth.

    =)

  4. Hey guys. If you follow my twitter at all you'd know I've started recording my own stuff w/ eric garten @ for the record in orange county socal =P Here's a taste of whats coming. Mostly indie-ish acoustic with some full band brand new-ish stuff planned.

  5. Its not an official book by Paramore, but its someone else who's wrote about Paramore. Its a biography of them.

wonder if it'd have the real bio =O

the one where a certain marketing mastermind decides paramores going to have one of the biggest albums in 3 years (which happened) and does so by pulling all the pop songs off the first record, "signing" them to an indie (fbr as we all know) instead of the parent major that found them, and purposefully instilling their humble beginnings to create us, the die hard fans.

Its so... brilliant; while at the same time I feel completely had.

Of course their talent allowed them to get this far, and I respect that beyond words. But I'd hope to god they'd get that far after 5million in marketing funding.

  6. I personally think it's easy to remember but hey. :P

BTW this guy on AP says you were dancing "crabcore" is that true? :rotfl:

    2cqekht.gif

Yea I read that. The other guitarist Tim sometimes will do stupid shit like that lol. I think its hilarious, however, apparently they did not

Unless you call what I'm doing in the intro to this song crabcore, then i guess.

I also get in a similar position to the gif but i'll flip my hair around like jared in this vid @ 44s:

I guess people prefer that I just stand still and face the drum kit. Lol

  7. Saosin show was super fun. Tons of band dudes there. Dustin K. of Thrice was there checkin his bro out, beau of blessthefall was there for eye alaska, brandon saller (sp?) of atreyu was there on top of the acts on the bill. Got to meet a shit ton of really cool people.

The OC Register published a review today which noted us in it.

As for the rest of the evening’s fare … Although opening act She Screams Remedy is so little-known that several of the subsequent artists couldn’t recall the band when they thanked other acts on the bill by name, the Anaheim outfit made quite a positive impression on many who arrived early.

Lead singer Kyrsten Gammon and singer-guitarist Trevor Koch traded sharp lead vocals against a musical backdrop that draws comparisons with Paramore. The high spot of the group’s set was the forceful “Pandora’s Box” and the post-punk attack of “Efflorescent.”

.... really wish innerpartysystem remembered our name lol. :crybad:
