  1. o yes! this is such great news.

how weird, i was reading the old 'last thread' stuff a couple of days ago and i was thinking about it [im not gonna express my opinion about that cuz its in the past now] and i felt like this site needed you back cuz it really hasnt been the same since.

so welcome back. you truly have been missed bro.

  2. Yeah I really doubt they're going to check at the door. They aren't going to know who bought pre-sale tickets and what not, but they might cancel the orders like Brent said. Honestly that pisses me off, I paid for the membership and I feel like if any old Joe Schmoe can just get the password they get pre-sale tickets, too. Then in the end I'm not benefitting by paying extra to join the fan club. I think in the future you should need to give your login info to the fanclub for the pre-sale.

thats exactly how i feel. someone is going to figure it out and get the presale tickets. i believe they should sell the presale on the website. so you have to be logged in to get the tickets.

  3. I don't see it as selling out. I think getting a little bit of fame and being on MTV is called BEING LUCKY & becoming succesful. I think you guys are using the term selling out in a different way than what it actually means. Somebody who sells out would be doing it for the money, not for the fans and for the love of the music. Sell outs lose sight of what's important and get lost in the fame. I don't think we'll ever have to worry about that with Paramore, I don't really see them becoming ego maniacs and rolling around in their hummers, bahahaha. But seriously, they want to be succesful, and they can't putter around and be a little tiny band forever, because it just wouldn't sustain them financially. Sure, they ARE in this because they love it, but it has to be something that is bringing in enough money for them to at least be able to afford to continue. You have to have some minor mainstream fame, or just be HUGE in the "underground", in order to continue doing it or it's not worth it.

i agree. i believe there is a difference between becoming successful and selling out.

and even in the interview that pf.com just had they were saying how much they miss hangin with fans and stuff so i still believe they havent changed who they are.

  4. shouldn't the presale for the fanclub have ended already? I mean.. the term "presale" kind of implies that it would end before the actual sale. Or do the presales just have a certain number of tickets and the fanclub doesn't stop selling them till the presale is sold out?

well it has to end sometime cuz the winners of the M&G are chosen 2 weeks after it ends. so that has to be at least 2 weeks before the first show.

  5. 1st time-squashed a bit and pushed a tiny tiny but but not really too bad.

    2nd-squashed against the barrier.

    3rd-bit pushy.

    4th-very very pushy,squashed so much,coundnt move.

5th-squishedddd so bad, it was a massive festival crowd.

    6th-crushed!!!

    7th-crushed!!!

crushed!!.... crushed!! crushed!! 2,3,4!!! Nothing compares to...

o sorry. i couldnt help myself.

  6. im pretty sure they stated only Fan Club members who buy their presale off the Fan Club site are getting the chance for the Meet n Greet. Looks like the only 100% known people are you and me so far if your goin to Houston. Its goin down *throws down a towel* :nono:

haha. if its really just me and you i hope they pick more than 1 person, which im pretty sure they will be.

and im goin to the austin date so how cool would it be if i got both of the M&G's? how about this....if i get the both M&Gs, i'll give you the houston one.

  7. Yeah, it should have been the first 15-20 people to buy tickets or something like that.

i dont know i just have a feeling that someone is going to get those presale tickets that arent in the fan club and then they get chosen for the M&G. which would screw some of us.

but hey i have 2 chances cuz im goin to 2 shows back to back nights. its gonna be so sweet!

  8. oh believe us. paramore crowds are no joke.

and the crowds will most likely be alot bigger and alot more brutal now since lots of people are discovering the band.

but if you wanna be in the front.....

be prepared to be bumped and slammed around and completely lose your hearing after the show.

they can get pretty wild lol

exactly. if you're in the front be prepared for all of this...

    1. you wont be able to sleep too well cuz your ears will ring.

    2. you will be sore and bruised from others behind you jamming there elbows into your back.

    3. haha you will also be bruised from the barricade jamming into your knees/hips/stomach/chest [depending on your height].

    4. there may be a little whiplash or soreness in your neck depending on the amount of headbanging you might do.

    5. if you're tall, be prepared to get heckled by people who cant see.

    6. you might feel a little sick from the heat. my advice is to be hydrated before the show.

    7. o and last but not least...you will have the time of your life and it will certainly be something that will never forget. it will feel like the best hour or so youve ever lived.

at least that is all that happened to me in my 2 experiences in the front row.

  9. I don't like how it's like "some members will be randomly selected for a m&g". Laaaaaaaaaaaaame. Whatevs, I just bought tickets for me & my bf4lyfe. I'm hella stoked. On the radio they were just like "yeah Paramore is coming on November 6..." and I was like "YEAH I BOUGHT MY TICKETS 2 SECONDS AGO!!!!!!!!" Haha.

o i know! i just wish they made it like 15 people with first come first serve you know?

  10. LMFAO same i'm about 6 foot too. So yeah. And people cant complain, because if i was infront of them, then they queued up too late ;)

    haha. exactly!

both times ive seen paramore i was top 5 in line and had to wait for hours before the show began. so i feel like if i want to be in the front row i earned it....and i have been both times.

and ill be going to 2 shows this tour and its kind of tradition for me now to go real early (like 4 hours before) so i can get in the front.

  11. Ehhhhh I really don't think they check.

I know people who have bought pre-sale tickets when they weren't in the fanclub and they were able to use them.

Unless you have to like, enter some code or something before you buy them, idk.

Hahah bands don't usually make the password too hard to guess ;D

hmm well i was thinking that eventually some people that werent in the fanclub would get access to the presale somehow so i am wondering what they'll do since they did put that little notice in there.
