  1. Kind of confused by that, seeing as they announced different official artwork for the single the other day.  :???:

It's a cool photo though, so thanks!

JUST A NOTE: If the song does leak before the official release tonight, we ask that you do not post any links here. Paramore's team has been very good to us over the years, and we want to respect that by not posting leaks.

  2. Haha, some of the song titles are definitely different than what I'm used to from Paramore, but I trust Paramore enough to know that they're not releasing "Rude Boy Version 2.0" anytime soon. :P

Hayley has said this album is a lot more positive, lyrically, than past albums, and I think the song titles reflect that.

  3. Nice to meet you, Muz! I always like reading these questionnaires and seeing how other people got into Paramore.

I, too, got back into playing music a few years ago partially because of Paramore. I've been crazy busy lately, but I really need to start playing again.

I'm also massively into Tonight Alive at the moment too. I'm hoping and praying that maybe Paramore will ask them out on tour, but I'm not sure it would happen. Fingers crossed though cause I would be stoked!

    Welcome to the boards! :D

  4. That's a bummer. :( I'll be seeing them in Philly, Brooklyn, and Boston this spring. I got a lot of money for Christmas, and tickets were less than $20, so I thought why the hell not? I'll make sure I say hi for you. :)

I kind of go to Warped now regardless of whether or not there are any bands I want to see there, so I definitely plan on going again and seeing Tonight Alive. I haven't bought tickets yet, but I don't see that being a problem any time soon. I know a lot of people wouldn't be super keen on it, but how sweet would it be if Paramore played Warped this summer too? With my luck, they'd schedule TA and Paramore at the same time. They did that last time they played, except with There For Tomorrow, lol.

  5. Welcome back! I don't know if you remember me, but I remember seeing you around the boards. :)

It's always cool seeing older members coming back. I'm hoping we'll see a lot more of that with the new album coming out. I miss everybody.

Also, Supernatural is a pretty awesome show. :D

  6. I've watched this episode three times since Christmas and will probably watch it more. In true Doctor Who style, I catch a lot more on the second and third watch than on the first watch. May watch it a few more times before April just to hold me over. :P

Clara is awesome, and so mysterious! I'm very excited to see what else she'll bring to the table in the rest of the season. She's quickly becoming a favorite of mine and of the other Doctor Who fans I see commenting on her.

Also, the new version of the theme song/opening titles is AWESOME!

  7. Yeah, I feel like a lot of people also moved over to Twitter and Tumblr. Both are great sites, but I've always liked the sense of community I get from forums. It's a lot more of a conversation. I'm also interested to see what happens here when the new album comes out.

Thanks for the input! Hopefully we'll hear from others as well, and we can decide if it's the boards or people's computer setups... or just other social media sites. It'd be awesome to have these boards even half as lively as they used to be. :)

  8. Hey all,

Ever since we switched over to the new forum, we've had reports of it loading very slowly or not at all for some members. For a lot of us, this has gotten better over time, and while the boards are sometimes a little slower than other sites, we're still able to get on and enjoy them, but we've also noticed people commenting saying that they don't come here a lot anymore because of how slow the pages load.

    So we wanted to ask...

How are the boards running for you? Does it take a while to load each page or is it just as fast as any other site you visit?

Also, what kind of computer/Operating System/Internet browser are you using? Is your computer brand new or a few years old? Things like this can make all the difference, and we just want to know where everyone is at, technology-wise.

Any feedback and comments are appreciated. We really want to have things back in full-force before the new album comes out, and the only way to do that is to see what you guys all think of PF.com. :)

  9. I confess that it sucks a lot when you have made a very important life choice (in my case, that would be staying sober - for reasons I won't go into) and taken the time to open up to someone about why you have made that decision and why it means so much to you, and not even a year later, they start telling everyone how it is a goal of theirs to, basically, make you break it... and so out of the blue too! It's not even like we were talking about how I don't drink - the fact that this friend now wants to take me out and get me drunk against my will came up out of nowhere in conversation twice in one night. I literally can't stop thinking about it, and I feel so disrespected.

  10. I love that about Jenna too. On stage, she seems like she would kick anybody's ass if they looked at her wrong (except for the fact that half the time, she has the biggest smile on her face, lol), but when you actually talk to her, she's super sweet and polite. I try to be polite back cause I know it kind of bums her out when people don't say "please" and "thank you," which is really not too much to ask.

The fact that they're all really nice makes it a lot easier to support them. A lot of bands could learn a few things from bands like them and Paramore.

  11. Saw TA on the 1st and 2nd, and they killed it both nights! I was incredibly impressed with Jenna's vocals, especially at the New York show. I couldn't tell if she was singing extra hard because the crowd was super into it or if it was cause not many kids were and she was trying to get them into it.

I went to the NYC show alone, so I hung out towards the back of the pit and sang along the whole time, and Jenna definitely smiled at me a few times cause I was one of the only people on that side of the crowd singing. I never think anything of stuff like that because, really, she could've been looking at anything or anyone, but the next night, after the Worcester show, I stopped by their merch table (Best Buy Theater wouldn't let them sign after the NY show which was lame) and mentioned that I was at the show the night before and Jen said, "Yeah, I remember you," with the most adorable smile on her face. That made my night. :) I also talked to Matty a little bit. He's pretty shy (they all were, really), but still an awesome dude!

Overall - incredible show from Tonight Alive! The other bands were good but not really my kind of music. Jenna said they were going to be back for another US tour in the spring. I plan on going to all the shows I have the money for cause they're great, and I love them. They have the potential to be really big, and I want to help them as much as I can. :)

I'm still kind of hoping that maybe they'll do a tour with Paramore. That would be a sick show!

PS - I'm officially in love with Jenna McDougall. <3 haha

  12. I can't wait! Justin Meldal-Johnsen did an interview recently, and it really sounds like he was trying to let the band do what they want and explore new ideas. It's going to be great!

Here's the interview, if you want to watch (he talks about Paramore at 4:42 and 19:55):

  13. Okay, so I definitely, DEFINITELY think that deciding to not do any two-parters this series is starting to bite the Doctor Who team in the ass.

Tonight's episode was good, and I did cry at the end cause it was bittersweet, but the Ponds deserved SO much more for their last appearance on Doctor Who. I thought back, and I'm pretty sure they're the only companions in New Who that didn't have a two-part send off. It would've been so much more effective! I mean, come on, I'm still mourning the loss of Rose six seasons later! lol

I've enjoyed a lot of the episodes so far in this series, but I feel like there's a big build up, a tiny climax, and then a rushed resolution in almost all of them. It's like they're trying to fit too much into too little time.

Here's hoping for less rushed episodes in the second half of series 7... and Jenna-Louise Coleman. I am SO ready for her. ;)

  14. Glad to hear you got your ticket! :) I'm pretty excited, both for the shows and also to hang out with friends at one of them.

I'm also curious as to what merch Tonight Alive will have and what songs they're going to play.
