That's an interesting article, and I'm glad they featured Paramore. I wasn't aware that they had a 360 deal, and I really haven't studied those types of deals at school yet, but they seem really interesting.

I like how 360 deals give bands time to grow instead of just throwing them into the spotlight. It's worked for Paramore so far. I think it was a good choice to start them out that way.

Well, crushcrushcrush is credited to Hayley and Josh. There are no notes saying that they used anyone else's lyrics, so I think your sister's just mistaken. With the amount of songs that have already been written, I'm sure it can sound like another song to someone.

does she just never sing in her head voice? even hitting all those high notes in hallelujah, pressure etc.?

If you want to hear her hit some really high notes in her head voice, listen really closely to the bridge of "Stop This Song (Lovesick Melody)"... particularly the line, "Although I try and try to." It sounds so pretty.
