  1. "we'll keep these circle pits between us" hayley at warped tour scranton

opps, looks like the secrets out!

    lol...

"Our tour manager, Ronnie, wants to see a circle pit! So you guys, lets get a circle pit going!!"

    *Barely anybody moshes*

"We'll keep these circle pits between us."

...That was a pretty funny moment. :P

  2. This is a random question.. but for the people who went: Why did Hayley laugh when she was turning the mic back around to face her after letting the audience sing during Franklin? I can't tell what happened from watching the videos on youtube..

I wasn't there, but I know she laughed because the audience forgot the words to the song halfway through. :P

  3. They really have matured as a band. I have The Walk already too, but I haven't listened to it that much. "Great Divide" is an amazing song though.

They're playing up by me soon, actually.

  4. Yeah, to get the rights to remake a song, you have to seek approval/permission from the original copyright holder(s), which is actually all four members of U2, not just Bono, and pay them for it. Some bands just need the money and will give their songs to whoever can pay them. Other bands (usually more well-known ones) usually like to hear what the bands are doing with their song, so people don't hear a really crappy remake of it. If U2, themselves, didn't listen to the song, someone in their camp quite likely did. I'm sure U2 could find three minutes to give it a personal listen though.

The original is a classic and my favorite U2 song, but Paramore did a great job and gave it a whole new feel.

  5. The FAQ on the Spice Girls website says the limit is 6 tickets per registrant... so you can bring plenty of people.

I've signed up. I'd take the 4 hour drive home to see them in NYC in a heartbeat! Spice World is amazing. I bought it on DVD a few months ago. :P

  6. I joined the street team about a month ago, and I never got an e-mail inquiring about which bands I wanted to support either. I didn't know I was supposed to. I just always click on Paramore on that side menu and complete their missions.

I e-mailed Erick, like he said to, after completing a mission, and I never got any e-mail back to acknowledge that he'd gotten it or anything. I never get e-mails from the FBR streetteam at all, actually. Maybe he's just busy. If you really want an answer from him, I'd just say write him again. Let me know if you find anything out. You've got me wondering now. The website seems to be having some problems (I can't look at my account settings), so I can see it screwing that kind of stuff up.

  7. Sober is a great song... probably my favorite off the new album. I absolutely love Kelly, but I wasn't sure if I was going to like this new album because it took me a while to get into Never Again when it was released, but so far, I'm really enjoying it, and I'm totally behind her releasing the music she wanted to release.

I haven't heard the demo version of Haunted yet. I'll have to find that. The violin intro sounds pretty cool... if you listen closely in the verse of the album version, there's a Garageband sample of orchestra strings. Sorry, I'm a nerd. I had to point that out though. :P

  8. Converse are sized differently than normal shoes, actually. ;-) My Chucks are an 8.5, but my normal size is a men's 9.5 and a women's 11.

Hayley's size 5's definitely make me feel like my feet are huge. haha

  9. "59th Street Bridge Song" by Simon and Garfunkel. Maybe that sounds a little weird, but that song just makes me so happy, and Hayley singing it would make it that much better. :)

I think it would be cool to hear her sing anything by Kent too. Since I know she likes them, it'd be really interesting to hear her take on their songs.

How did you come across this amazing fansite that is paramorefans.com?

I believe it was the first site to come up on Google when I searched for Paramore fansites.

How did you come across the amazing band that is Paramore/ how long have you been a fan?

The Jonas Brothers (fellow New Jerseyians... teen pop in moderation is not a bad thing. lol) posted a MySpace bulletin saying to vote for them on AOL Breakers... I saw Paramore and having read some random blurbs in RollingStone magazine about them a while back, I decided to give them a listen (finally)... needless to say, I ended up voting for "Misery Business" instead.

I've been a fan for about a month, which is not long enough.

    Favorite Paramore song?

I honestly can't pick one. I have about 6 favorites off of each album. My Heart is definitely high up there and Stuck On You, for sure.

    Favorite lyric?

"To this 4/4 beat, I'm in time with you."

Any live show experiences you'd like to share?

Haven't seen them live yet. I'm hoping to get out to Warped Tour this summer, and I would love for them to come back to Avalon in Boston. I'm very much impressed by their live performances (and the fact that they're actually very, very good live, unlike some bands).

    Interests:

Music, first and foremost. Also, movies, TV, foreign languages, watching tennis, and pizza.

    Other Music:

No Doubt, Kent, The Sounds, and A*Teens (Paramore rounds out my top 5). I listen to a little bit of everything. That's the only way to get the full effect of music.

    Anything else?

I'm a Music Business major at Berklee College of Music, and I play bass (as well as a few other instruments).

  11. Hey All,

My name's Chriss. I'm 21, and I'm a fairly new Paramore fan. I found them almost by accident (or was it fate?) about a month ago, and of course, I was bummed that I hadn't found them earlier. I've had a lot of catching up to do. Like everybody here, I think they're an amazing band, and I'm looking forward to watching them go far, so I decided to join the ParamoreFans Board.

I've been browsing the boards for a while today, and you seem like cool people, so I just thought I'd say "Hi!"

    :)
