  1. My top three right now are The Fire, Complexes, and Come Home. Great musicianship and also Jenna's vocals are killer! I love hearing vocalists' voices mature over the years. I'm really excited to hear some of these live next month (holy geez... it's September already!).

  2. Hey all,

So a while back, ParamoreFans used to do a cool feature called "Fan of the Month," where the admins and mods would pick a board member and highlight them on the main site.

We'd like to bring that back, but with a little twist... we would like you guys to recommend some awesome fans that you've come across throughout the Paramore fanbase (they don't even have to be on these boards). If you know someone who has been to 50 shows, does really cool artwork of the band, has a huge merch collection, or is even just a massive fan of the band, please let us know. We would love to feature them on the site. This is ParamoreFANS after all.

Please feel free to post your suggestions in this thread. We're looking forward to seeing what awesome fans are out there. :)

  3. Seeing this just made my day. The indie label I used to work at, OK! Good Records, released their album The Day We Ran Into The Sea here a few years ago! I really wish we could've done more for them because the four of us working there loved them!

I don't work at the label anymore, and I don't think Paper Aeroplanes works with them either (the label's loss, really), but I still keep up with their music. Sarah and Rich are incredibly nice people, and their music is beautiful. :)

I think they've played a grand total of three shows in the US - back in November of 2010. Two in New York and one in New Jersey at Mexicali Live, that I went to. If they came back, I'd be there in a heartbeat.

    This ones my favorite...

  4. I saw that screencap the other day on Facebook, and then kind of forgot about it, lol.

When do we get this trailer already? I swear after Comic Con International, they said it would be up later that day, and here we are a month later with nothing. :P

  5. Also when I saw panic at the disco I put on my band/ Dr who shirt I made and got like 10  likes from it haha

I have a homemade Bad Wolf t-shirt, and I wore it to Warped Tour in 2012 and got some high fives. Anybody who recognized it got a million awesome points in my book. :P

  6. Steve, I've heard many awesome things about you from Ross. Glad you're a TA fan as well! They're incredible both as a band and as people. I hope to get to Ross status soon, where someone can say, "Hi Jenna, I know Chriss..." and she'll yell back, "Everybody knows Chriss!!" haha.

  7. Welcome fellow Whovian!

My take on the 13 regenerations rule is that it's not a biological thing, but more of a rule the Time Lords enforced. Now that they aren't around to stop the Doctor at 13, I think he'll be able to go on much longer. The Master either received more generations or cheated his way through several of them, didn't he? So it can be bypassed.

I think this will be all of our first real-time regeneration. Come December 25th, this will become a grief counseling post. :P

  8. Haha, that's probably for the best anyway, Ross. If you reviewed it, you would just write about how perfect it is and how much you love the band. Probably not very objective. :P

I'll be seeing them twice in October with You Me At Six, and they said they will be headlining around that same time, so I'm hoping to catch one or two more shows on that tour. I can't wait! TA right before my birthday and Paramore right after. I'm stoked about that.

  9. Late posting this, but I saw them at Scranton Warped Tour. I went to both of their signings because they were the only reason I went this year, and their set was incredible! The crowd was pretty small compared to photos I'd seen from other dates, but they kicked butt nonetheless, and the people who were there were singing at the top of their lungs, so that made up for the lack of people.

At the end of the day, my friends and I headed over to their pre-order signing and I got to talk quite a bit to all of them. As I went down the line, I saw Jenna huddled over the photo I bought for them to sign, and then she looked up, showed me what she had done, and said "This is me and you," with the biggest smile on her face... I'm a Scorpio and she's a Gemini and we both wear necklaces with our signs' symbols on them (something we had talked about after one of their shows in April), so she drew this on my photo:

She didn't have to do that, and I didn't ask. Nor was I even thinking about it... but she was. Have I ever mentioned how appreciative, sweet, and loving Tonight Alive is? I've never been more happy to support an up-and-coming band. :)

  10. PARTY TIME!!!  :willy_nilly:  :willy_nilly:  :willy_nilly:

Peter Capaldi! He was a massive Doctor Who fan as a kid - collected magazines, autographs, you name it - AND he was in a punk band with Craig Ferguson (late night's ultimate Whovian). If he's not incredible, I'm going to be very surprised.

  11. My mom will be making a special appearance at the Camden show haha. Chriss, our first show/first time we met was at that Camden arena in 2009 for No Doubt and Paramore.

Is it sad that I'm always stoked when I hear your mom is coming to a show? haha

Holy geez! That was 2009, right? You were, like, 17 and I was 23, and I kept thinking "How are her parents okay with me driving her to this show?... in this obnoxiously red Mazda 3 rental."  :rotfl:

  12. I feel like we were just talking about how tours never come up your way, so I'm stoked for you! The gap between seeing them in 2011 and seeing them this past spring was unbearable for me, so I can't even imagine how it was for you. I hope you have the best time ever! :D

As for me, I will be at the shows in Camden, NJ and NYC... even though tickets for the MSG show were almost $100 a pop, I couldn't turn down seeing Paramore play there. It'll be a friend of mine's first Paramore show ever, which is just perfect.

What show is everybody else going to?

  13. I like that it's a little bit more rock and less pop-punk. They did say that Breakdown isn't on the album and doesn't reflect the sound of it at all, so that's cool.

I haven't gotten a download link yet, but I'm waiting impatiently. It's also on the free Fearless Summer Sampler at Warped this year.

I haven't bought my tickets for Warped Tour yet, but I'll be going to Scranton. I was freaking out about not having gotten tickets yet, and then I looked up my purchase from last year, which was 8 days before the show, haha. I think I'll be okay (and watch... as I type this tickets will magically sell out). :P

If I see Sammy, I'll definitely say hi and tell him we all love his photos.

  14. Haha, the best part was when the Doctor yelled "PLEASE!" and the doors opened and for a few seconds everyone thought, "The Doctor's name is 'Please'?"  :rotfl:

I've heard a few theories about John Hurt, so I probably know what you're talking about. I'm ready for November now, please! Billie and David plus Matt and Jenna? Best thing ever!

Also pretty sad to hear Matt's leaving. Just like Jenna was my first official new companion (as in, I was caught up with the show and it was actually a surprise - no Wikipedia spoilers, haha), Matt will be the first Doctor I will see regenerate as it happens. Moffat says it's gonna be sad, and after David Tennant's exit, I don't even want to know what that entails. :( At the same time though, my favorite thing about Doctor Who is that if the lead actor decides he's ready to move on, it's not the end of the show... pretty genius idea on the part of the show's creator. I'm going into it with an open mind.
