  1. OMG I'm emo now! >_< I can't go see him. You need a ticket to go see him, and it's sold out. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, I'll try to get through this without crying. I've been a fan for over 4 years since I first started collecting comics. I've always loved the Sandman series even though people find it too dark. His unique characters and magical look on the world has inspired me to be a writer myself. I don't know if I'm any good. But if I had to pick one favorite book of his, it would be Neverwhere. Stardust is good, but you can tell this is when his style still isn't as refined as it is in Neverwhere. Anansi boys, though a great, funny book which I love profusely, is not exactly my cup of tea. It is as good as Neverwhere, but not as dark. I guess, that's the thing that tipped the scale for me.
  2. Neil Gaiman is coming back on Nov. 24 sa Fully Booked in Serendra.
  3. Nothing much happening on my end except for the fact that NEIL GAIMAN is coming to the Philippines again. haha. I'm so giddy.
  4. Well, I'm in. I hope it everything works out.
  5. Hey guys. Sorry I haven't been around. I just felt like keeping away from the computer as much as possible during sem break. Anyway, Ninski, happy birthday in advance. As for the cd, huwag ka na umasa. Even I don't have one. haha
  6. Dunno maybe someone could make a video on youtube with compilations of her performances, then at the end, written in "Riot" font, there can be a message that says like "Thank you for giving Paramore a voice, and happy birthday." I dunno. I'm just writing the first thing that popped into my head.
  7. Yaay! Red Head Hayley.
  8. AAH! Still no vacation! One more day!
  9. I don't get how someone's parents can kick out their own kids just because they had a self discovery.
  10. I thought everyone already knew she was gay. If so, then wouldn't that mean she already came out? And the fact she wrote it for her homework means she wanted someone to know. But if I were the teacher, I wouldn't have asked for such a personal thing to be an assignment.
  11. He probably is feeling the same way.
  12. Well, the first few books were okay, but the others were poorly written. And I hear the last book is dissatisfying.
  13. ^ yeah I guess that wouldn't be the best thing to do. It didn't work for me back in first year, so it probably won't work for you either. The main point is, you have go for it. Most of my friends bitch about how they might lose that person in their life and how they can't have that coz they love them. But you don't really know these people. They're just somebody you fancy. So yeah, go for it and have no regrets. And if it works out, I hear the reward is feeling like you finally have your life the way you want it to be.
  14. ^ Haha. I guess we are confusing to you as you are confusing to us. Haha. But yeah, i know it's hard to just tell someone you like them, but at least, there won't be any regrets in the future.
  15. You know I just noticed everyone's asking for advice, but no one's giving it. haha So I'll do it, even though I am a fool by many standards. You like him and you want him to be more than a friend. That's obvious, at least at this stage. Maybe you should just tell him straight out. Then ask if he he likes you too in that way. Coz if they're talking about you, that might mean he likes you, or his friends see that he likes you even though he doesn't know it himself.
  16. Di pa. May test pa kami. ugh one more week.
  17. Someone told me once that people who are homophobic are afraid that they themselves might be gay, so they try to keep away from it as much as possible.
  18. Okay here's the thing. This isn't about me. It's more about my classmate. Last year, my classmate told me, and I quote, "If ever my girlfiend breaks up with me, I'm turning gay." Now, I's sure he was just kidding at the time. But three months ago, his girlfriend broke up with him, and recently, my classmates and I have been noticing that he's starting to become more feminine than his usual self. We have nothing against Homosexuality. But my classmate is this really religious guy. I mean, we call him Flanders as a joke. My question is, how are we going to help him if ever he truly does turn gay and his new side clashes with his Christian side?
  19. I'm sorta confused byt this so sorry if I don't completely understand. Seeing as she made out with her ex, I'm thinking she doesn't really like Josh. If that's the case, then yes, it is a crappy thing to do especially since she knows you like Josh. But if I were you, I'd make sure all the facts are straight before acting. it's high school and not everything you're going to hear is true. If it is true, then there's nothing else to do. You have to confront Hayley and ask her why she did something like that.

    hi.

Now that you've joined the forum, you must have an initiation. Call upon the volcano god! haha. Have fun. There are nice people here.
  21. Okay, the first girl, she doesn't like you. Not attracted to you and doesn't want you as a friend. maybe that's a bit too harsh. But the point is she doesn't want to be romantically linked to you. She liked the other guy, that's why she said yes. The girl who's obsessed with you probably moved on. Maybe. idk. Just speculation. And you know why your friend is pissed at you so I don't need to explain. And no, you're not ugly coz if you were then the obsessed girl wouldn't have fallen for you in the first place. Either that or she fell in love with your personality or something.
  22. Thorned_lilac I have no idea where you're coming from saying that Avril is the same level as Hayley Williams, Amy Lee, and Kelly Clarkson. She really isn't. You know, this is the exact reason i left the Avril forums. Too many people are in love with Avril the artist instead of being in love with her music. The fact that you keep sighting her old songs and very few of her new ones just tells me that she's a has-been.
