Next month for the new album! I'm so excited to hear it.
Lonely Girl has been stuck in my head ever since i heard it. We've actually recieved the album in our inbox at the magazine i'm working at but i've said i wanna wait and hear it when it comes out so someone else is reviewing it haha.
I'm hopefully gonna catch them 2 or 3 times in October. It's just ashame they tour the month after Paramore and money will be tight after forking out for that.

I've taken the week off work and attending all of them. Gonna make the trip over to Ireland for the Dublin gig too. It's going to be an awesome week and since the last tour i've met so many people/made a bunch of friends so there's literally a big group of us going together. I'm pretty excited for it!

My personal opinion on the album...
It's a cracker and it's their best one yet. However i think it doesn't begin and finish as strongly as previous albums. That said, Still Into You, Part II, Last Hope, Proof and Be Alone are some of the best songs that Paramore have produced. I can really see Be Alone being in next month's American setlist and i hope it is. It's definitely my favourite from the new album.
That gospel choir, Taylor's guitar solo in Crazy Girls, Jeremy's bass in Ain't It Fun. Awesome. All absolutely awesome. Paramore can be very proud of themselves with this album and you can just hear/see the happyness oozing out of them. Especially with the Still Into You video.
I'm proud of them, they've came back stronger than ever after such a tough couple of years.
Long live Paramore!
-
Despite it being so low down on the album tracklist, i voted for Be Alone. I think that's a massive tune with serious single potential.
-
So i got interviewed about Paramore/Paramorefans.com for MySpace and they've put the article up!
It looks pretty snazzy. Feel free to have a read!

Hahaha please freak out Jenna by saying "I know Ross in Scotland!". There's a funny story behind it which ended up Jenna tweeting me "you whore!" haha!
-
I, too, grew up with Good Charlotte and was absolutely stoked (am i getting good at American word-use yet? ) that Benji was on the song!
They've dropped off the face of the earth over here in the UK as well so it was a surprise to see him pop up out of nowhere!
I went to see Tonight Alive a couple of months ago at the Kerrang! tour and after their set i went to the merch desk to buy a shirt. It was pretty crowded and i was miffed as to why it was so busy, then suddenly i spotted Jenna was hanging about and that was why! So i decided to quietly hang about until the crowd dispersed a little and then speak to her. So the person in front of me moved and Jenna was speaking to someone trying to sort their camera, she turned her head round, saw me, smiled and gave me this massive hug. She said "hey man, how you doing?". I couldn't really believe she had remembered me haha. I guess we speak on Twitter that much! So i said i was good and asked how she was, and asked how the tour was going. Her manager was there at the time and said no more photo's but i asked her "can we get a quick photo?" and she said "Of course man!" and i got a photo with her. I spent about 5-10 minutes chatting to her while everyone waited ( i felt so bad haha). So i then said "I'll let you get back to your crowd" and she laughed, gave me another hug and said "it was good to see you dude, take care".
I remember my eyes being all watery after it haha, it was really nice.
Here is said photo.

The stand out for me is Proof. It sounds fantastic! I'm quite sketchy about the album, but i remember being like that with Now when it first came out and now i love it. So i know it'll definitely grow on me.
I like that they're happy and trying new stuff, i just think it'll perhaps take me a wee bit longer to get used to it and for some of the songs to grow on me. Some will hit me instantly and others will take time. I remember Misguided Ghosts taking a long time to grow on me and in the end i loved it.

Sorry for that porn post. God knows how that slipped by us!
-
Just to bump this and back it up, i'll be contributing to this with my tale of being backstage and sharing the stage with the band. Get in touch guys cause the more entries they get then the better the book will be!
-
Just did the same! Good luck!

Reachback hail from England and have an excellently produced EP out right now that you should all check out. My friends are actually supporting them in Glasgow soon so it should be a great gig.
I guarantee these songs will be stuck in your head for weeks! So, so catchy.
Check out "No One Else" -
and "Butterflies" -

Hahaha! YES! This thread pleases me highly. Most of all because it shows people actually listen to me!
I met Jenna last January and she was very sweet. We've tweeted each other a bunch of times since then and she even guestlisted me when a show was sold out.
I went to see them towards the end of the year in England and venue was that small i was literally just about on the stage. During "My Favourite Thing" she came over, looked me right in the eye, pointed and sang "still it's a chance that i'm willing to take for you" in which i pointed back and we smiled at each other.
My heart is melting just thinking about it!

For your viewing pleasure Chriss, the most remarkable game ever seen in Scotland. It was ridiculous to be in attendance at it.
I may add, the final scorer in the game is a massive Paramore fan.
-
Excellent!
I fully plan on takiing one for Hayley in August with "Williams 69" on the back hahaha!
-
Haha, i was already planning on bringing you over a couple of Motherwell shirts when i come to visit, least you've now confirmed you'd wear them!
-
I honestly love the man. He never forgets his roots and always says he wants to end his career back where it began, at Motherwell.
The day i see Faddy in a Motherwell top again i'll have tears in my eyes.
One of his last games for us he scored a hat trick, the first one was a tap in from about 2 yards. The second was a penalty that he ran up, hit straight down the middle, and actually dinked the ball off the bar!
The third one he ran from the half way line, beat about 5 players and slotted the ball past the goalkeeper. It was outstanding.
He's incredible. The guy will forever by my absolute hero.
Tottenham are probably the "Motherwell" of the EPL i'd say actually so you've made a good choice!
-
Hahaha i thurelly enjoyed reading that! It was interesting to see how it's viewed from your side of the pond.
Since you've chose Tottenham i'll link you to one of the best strikes i've seen in the last couple of years.

- Danny Rose, scoring for Tottenham against Arsenal on his debut. Outstanding goal! And i introduce to you, the amazing talented skillful genius that is James McFadden. Must note that i attended most of these games in this and i was so proud every time! -
-
Of course! Robbie Keane. I remember Motherwell ruined his debut for Celtic haha!
If i was to advise you, then Chelsea arn't a team you want to pick. They are one of a couple of teams who have that mentality. Just being a team with loads of money and stuff. I used to like them when i was younger before they had a billionare owner.
My english team is Portsmouth but sadly we've had a fall from grace. From being in the Premiership and winning the FA Cup just 4 years ago to now having being relegated down two divisions.
I was gonna list teams to try help you out but it's a personal thing really! I always have a soft spot for Everton because James McFadden plays for them and he started his career at Motherwell. Easily the most talented player i've ever had the pleasure to watch and it always fills me with pride to see him playing in The Premiership.
-
It definitely has, like the MLS has had some top stars over the past few years including obviously David Beckham, Thierry Henry and Landon Donovan. All top quality players.
When USA played England in the World Cup in 2010 i was totally rooting for USA. I'll never forget the hilarious blunder by the England goalkeeper which led to USA's goal either!
I actually noticed you watching the Tottenham game when i jumped on my xbox the other day, i was going to text you asking you how it was but i ended up forgetting haha.
There's a good site called vipbox.tv which is really good for streaming football games. You even get Motherwell games on there sometimes! Next sunday is the last game of the season sadly but we've qualified to play in the top European competition for the first time in our history. We've played in the lesser competition a few times already but the Champions League is a different standard.
So i'll be travelling abroad to see Motherwell AND be seeing Paramore all in the one month in August!
We're all rooting for a Romanian team upon hearing that pints of beer were just 50 pence.. haha!
-
Bringing this up just to simply post this fantastic picture.

I'm in absolute love with this song. It's so so catchy. I'm gonna be playing this so many times over the next few weeks. I cant wait for the next UK tour and to hear it live
