yeah, i think my first one was better, plus i mixed this one on headphones so its far less subtle. anyone got any other hayley acapellas? my fave is emergency but its impossible to find.

Crush vs innocence

in fairness it wasnt even my idea, saw someone else try it on youtube but both tracks were at their original pitch and they didn't work, so I put hayley down a note, shoved some repeated bits between the verses and time warped it to fit. Working on another one just now using the crush acapella, not as catchy but it kinda works...

awesome, you could have just taken mine and put it up one semitone but yours does sound better.

am trying to find a good tune that works with crush, then i'll put it on here.

only other paramore acapella i have is crush, that and misery business are pretty much the only two that can be found online. might do something with it when i find a tune that works well.

slowing it down didnt pitch her down, i put hayley down one note to make it work with the tune. Admittedly i should have pitched the tune up one note but i'd already pitched her down to make sure it would work... if you want the mp3, send me a message on youtube with your email address and i'll send it.

ta bud, the vocal was slowed down from 173bpm to 138bpm which would ordinarily have made hayley sound like barry white if i hadnt time stretched it so as not to affect the pitch, then i moved it down just one note to make it work with the tune. An easy way of making it the same pitch hayley sang it at would be to speed it up ever so slightly, altho it'll still be much slower than the original. Never tried it but I'm sure the tune wouldn't suffer from it at all. if anyone wants the mp3, mail me on youtube with your email address.
