  1. Well there is something else people may be forgetting... like I did myself.

Hunter decided to up and abandon the band right as they started recording. That left all of the coming up with Guitar stuff to Josh. He probably didn't have time to personalize a lot of it.

That's a good point. Now that hopefully Taylor will join the band, Josh can focus more on lead work and leave the rhythm to Taylor. Having two guitarists rather than one is a huge advantage for Paramore, in my opinion.
  2. This Justin might as well be me.

Because I agree with everything he says.

whoa...haha. sweet. the poster above me is justin too. gosh.

I just want to hear josh rock out. Just once. hah Like you don't hear the same riffs from AWKIF in riot. Like pressure and emergency, the songs are basically built on josh's riffs. In riot I feel like it's mostly rhythm guitar instead of his unique style in AWKIF (except Let the Flames Begin, and probably some other songs, I haven't listened to riot intently for a while.)

I'm sure whatever they come out with I will instantly fall in love with.

  3. amen

    nothing beats acoustic paramore

Apparently, I know a kid at my school who hates Paramore to the extent of making fun of me for liking them, and he says that he heard Misery Business acoustic and it was "really good". That's a bigger compliment than I probably would have given it, lol. I'm not a huge fan, at least not that I remember. I haven't listened to it for a while.

  4. Futures is one of my favorite albums of all time. Each track is so amazing. I like all their albums to an extent but futures is the best. Then probably Bleed American, then Chase this Light, then Clarity and then Static Prevails.

  5. I never joined the club, I contemplated doing it right before the concert we just went to, but I figured I'd be paying 30 bucks for a year of the fan club which would be stupid because the majority of a year from now will be "downtime", like them making the new record and stuff. I would wait until the new album comes out, but I've always wondered exactly what kind of benefits I get from being in the club.

  6. I get there always 5+ hours. I stood in 105 degree humidity from 12 noon until 6 PM when the show started.

    Wow, that's dedication, man.

The concert I went to in Cleveland we got there about 30 minutes before the opening acts were supposed to start, and there were about 200 people up front already, who probably wouldn't budge an inch for anyone else to get closer since they've been waiting for so long. It depends how close you want. If you want to be like, barricade close, then I would imagine 3 hours would be a 100% sure way to get front row, but I've never been there that early.

  7. I have all of My Heart, We Are Broken, and most of When It Rains but you don't see her much in We Are Broken cause they didn't really have any lights on. I got a good bit of Hallelujah, Decoy, and Pressure as well. I got the entire piano intro to Emergency which is freakin awesome.

That's sweet. I really appreciate people like you who go to concerts and record stuff. I really appreciate the vids.

  8. Uploading the 2 files failed again this afternoon so I decided to just try 1 and "Misery Business" is now up. "Emergency" should be done by tonight.

Okay, so I have a couple questions. Did you see/hear Hayley fall (when she did my sister turned to me and said "Did she mean to do that?")? Do you know what she tripped over? She made a comment about how you never know where you stand until you have a good fall LOL and how she was getting beat up cause she busted her finger when she was pounding on the drum during the opening act. I saw her run off stage and come back and was wondering why haha. Also, did you stay after and meet the band? I read in the LJ community a couple people did. I didn't know the band came out afterward to meet people or I would've stayed! I'm ticked.

I remember her saying that. I don't recall seeing her fall, but it's possible I missed it.

Nah, my aunt took me and my friends (cuz we can't drive yet) and she went to go hang out around cleveland until the concert was over, it started at 7 and we never thought it would end at 11:xx so she was already ticked. Otherwise I definitely would have stayed to meet the band! My aunt was pissed though so we had to get to her really quickly.

I saw a girl there who got a drumstick. I cut her in line to be funny, the guy was just like "I can help someone over her" and right before she walked towards him, I transfer into her line and say "Yeah you can help me, I'll take a pepsi' lol. She was pissed but I'm just like "okay you got a drumstick, either trade me for this pepsi or don't complain."

hah. Good times. I'm downloading it now. Thanks again for the vids. :)
