I have 13,300 songs in total in my collection (Y) but only 7000 plays on last.fm, only really started using it in january, and only had it since december

Haha yeah i do that XD been listening to chronic future not stop for like 2 weeks, only got their albums a couple weeks ago and already clocked up 900 plays, only had about 20 before that, and i've played one of their songs over 200 times in the last couple weeks (:

go to last.fm sign up download scrobbler keep it running all the time install plugins for the media player you use (in the last.fm scrobbler settings) make sure all your music is tagged properly and then well... listen to music as you normally would.

It always happens to me, if something has a counting system I will use it exessively, I watch my last fm like a hawk I havn't been on there in hours and i could tell you that fratellis = 966 plays, chronic future = 900 paramore = 501 and atreyu is at something like 369

Well there was still a lot of good music it was just out media'd by the shit stuff.

Saaaaaame the from the 90's to just a couple of years ago music was dreaful, everything was fake, stolen or just plain awful. Indie scene is really kicking off again now

A surprising amount of people these days do. I love it music is turning into proper music again.

Guess you gotta be a fan. Mcfly's novelty wore off for me a long time ago, I wont dispute their talent though.
