melvin is this crazy alcoholic man who hangs around the astoria in london, he always crops up when you're queuing for a gig there. he's usually off his face and occasionally takes his top off (phwwoaaar). before paramore in september he downed about a litre of vodka (no joke) in one go and it didn't even affect him...although he was already hammered on something so i don't think it mattered.

 

i agree though, i think we should go to the astoria before the show, find him and then escort him to brixton...legend.

Well you my be wrong with your info jess because when I saw for example Blink 182 back in 2004 at the M.EN they played 24 for songs and their set lasted about an hour and a half or maybe two hours but what I'm saying is that even though Hayley may have been ill they have two albums worth of songs and they could have added much more to the set list. Yes Blink have 7 albums but Paramore pretty did a half assed performance set list wise.

The on-stage and curfew times are non-negotiable due to licensing, MEN is an arena, Paramore play at mainly Carling venues.

I thought it was kinda predicable (the whole show) Like having a boy and a girl in the final, idk i kinda think the way the show ended MTV has made bi sexuality come across as just being confused. Im not too pleased shes doing the second series i wanted them to find a new girl for it. Ahh well.

I think she got them whilst she was on tour in europe.

The U.S Setlists are longer than the U.K's Why is this?

Depending at what show you went to they also played Hallelujah

I dont think so coz all the other bands i have seen in the UK have played an hour and a half plus... perhaps its somthing to do with small venues? or maybe coz it was their first tour since riot came out and dont forget Hayley hadnt been well so who knows... i hope they play longer this time round tho

It depends what time they came onstage and what the curfew time is and how long they actually want to be playing.

Its called europa, i bought it for like $17 a few years ago.

The UK has a curfew time in pretty much all venues. Im not sure if USA does and what time it is, but that probably has something to do with it.
