Karen Carpenter was an angel on Earth, that girl could sing... and play drums. She was a fucking amazing drummer. I believe it was actually her move from behind the drums to the front that led her to guard her image and succumb to anorexia. It's a horrible shame because she was an amazing talent, and she was only 32 when she died. when I think of all the musicians who died too young... Karen Carpenter, John Lennon, Shannon Hoon, Kurt Cobain, Buddy Holly, I just wonder what kind of music the world is missing out on that would have been created had they lived a full life.

Not to show my age or anything, but Karen Carpenter (AKA best female vocalist EVER) owned "Rainbow Connection". I maintain to this day that her soul was divided prior to reincarnation. Half of it went to Hayley and half of it went to Taylor Swift and that's why their voices are as amazing as they are. Karen Carpenter trumps all female vocalists... ever. It's a terrible shame how she ended up dying.

I confess that I find a strange joy in hearing all the kids who gave me boatloads of shit all year come out now and thank me and start crying and telling me I'm a great teacher because they passed their exams. I wish they'd figure out how hard I work for them earlier in the year instead of waiting until the end to finally show some appreciation.

Reading through this thread gave me some of the most inappropriate thoughts... And also, it makes me want some in & out. I had it once, about 6 years ago, and it was just delicious.

I confess that test was really really fucking hard and unfair. I'm glad I didn't have to be the one to take it, but I feel really bad for my students because I know most of them probably ended up bombing it.

Hey Jedd, I saw on your site that you photographed Bad Religion. I was supposed to see them about 10 years ago, had the tickets in hand, mapped out the route to the venue since it was a place I'd never been before, get to my friends house to pick up everyone for the show. When I get there, he's standing outside with this miserable look on his face like his dog just died or something real sad like that, and he just says "Greg has the flu, shows canceled." We spent the rest of the night shooting pool and getting Belgian waffles at the local diner at midnight. I'm still yet to see Bad Religion live.

I confess I'm wicked psyched about the rating I got at work, although I'm bummed out because the one negative thing that was said about me totally contradicted something else that was a positive earlier on.

I confess I was writing a song, had an awesome lyric, went out for about an hour without writing down that lyric and now I forgot it. And this really really pisses me off because it was a great lyric.

I could be reading way too much into this, but is it just me or do the lyrics of this song seem a hell of a lot like a full-on anti-Josh assault? 1. "Don't you ever wonder how we survive? Well now that your gone, the world is ours." 2. "I'm not the villain, despite what you're always preaching."

I may just do that. Seeing her only once out of this whole tour just doesn't seem like enough, considering I missed the Fearless tour.

I've beaten the hell out of the replay button. Holy shit, since I first heard the full song, it's been the only song I've listened to.

The north american leg of the tour has 80 shows, I mean that's fucking awesome in and of itself. The fact that 6 of them are local (4 NJ, 2 MSG) is even better. I wish I could go to the last one, on Nov 22nd, but money is definitely an issue.

I'm PermanentSwiftie on Taylor Connect. If I don't meet Taylor, I'll consider the summer a total bust. There has to be a way, she's technically in for 6 days because there's 2 days between the shows, so she might do an appearance on Jimmy Fallon or something like that, in between.

I have a friend on Taylor Connect who's going tonight in florida, I asked her if she meets Taylor to ask her to call my cell and leave me a voicemail. If I wake up tomorrow with a voicemail, I'll fucking pass out. That would be so awesome! Can't wait for July 23rd!
