paramore midis?

Recommended Posts

Over the past couple of months I've been tabbing out Paramore songs with the side-scrolling tab editor TABIT (somewhat like guitar pro). It's not just the guitar, like in guitar pro, but the drums, bass, and vocals. It plays the tab back using midi so it may sound funny to some, but it's an excellent way to learn how to play the songs. They're nearly 100% accurate. I don't know how to convert the files to midi, but if anyone feels like paying 20 some dollars, you can get the program (compared to the $60+ for Guitar Pro) and do it yourself if you know how. Like I said before, the tabs are close to 100% perfect. I've even tried to match the fingerings Jeremy, Josh, and Hunter use. Drums, guitars, vocals, harmonies, effects (i.e. Emergency), counter-melodies; you name it, it's in there.

The songs I've tabbed:

All We know

Pressure

Emergency

Brighter

Here We Go Again

Never Let This Go

My Heart

Hallelujah

Franklin (a live version where the full band doesn't come in 'till the end)

Songs on the way:

Whoa (60%)

Never Let This Go (live with the band entering in the second chorus) (25%)

Temporary (10%)

Rewind (5%)

I'll eventually do the whole first album along with a few others (i.e. Oh Star). Anyway, $20 for the program and access to a huge selection of tabs. To get the best idea just go to the site: http://www.tabit.net.'>http://www.tabit.net. You can preview the tabs they have, and download a trial version. It should be noted that the full version will give you more than just the first 16 bars and allow you to play more than one track at once.

As you can see this is my first post on the forum and will probably be my last, unless this really takes off. Any questions just email me at agcurtis@uwm.edu. Once again: http://www.tabit.net
