But the song sounds like it's played note - pause - note -pause. So this leads me to my question, how do you perform these notes on the guitar??? PM me EDIT: play the open notes and use your left hand to block the strings from vibrating right after you play them? Another EDIT: or nvm, post in here. I've been using my strumming hand to stop it as if i was going to palm mute... if that makes sense. It's just the beat is 1 and stop and one and stop like in Pressure in the verse. 777 Posted February 2, 2008 Report Share Posted February 2, 2008 any fret I suppose? but not in the third fret, or the fifth, or the seventh...or the 12th...because those can sometimes to harmonics..and some other frets, I usualy do it between one and two.
