  2. Do you all know Evan? Check out his new video for Cheater of the Year. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=52262235
  3. Could it possibly be hinted that he is now? Or maybe just because Paramore, is all like, "Taylor, there is no way you can miss the VMA's! Come with us!"
  4. WOOT! PARAMORES PEFORMANCE WAS WONDERFUL!
  5. They will play right down the street from the VMA's but it will still be a live feed from they place they are performing and shown to everyone at the VMA's or something like that.
  6. PARAMORE IS ONLY KINDA PLAYING AT THE VMA's http://buzzworthy.mtv.com/2008/09/04/paramore-rehearses-for-the-vmas-and-im-stuck-in-a-truck/
  7. *I posted this in the fan club, but I thought I might as well post it here as well. So, I probably don't deserve my own thread when, there's already a Charlotte thread but I figured I'd write it in here. Please read it all. We are from Greensboro, NC so we have about an hour and a half drive which isn't too bad. We decided to leave around 12:30 after we picked up my sister and her boyfriend from her house. The reason we left so early is because they had Concord Mills (2nd largest North Carolina mall) in mind. On the way, we stopped at a restaurant that my sisters boyfriend suggested which none of us had been to but we always said that we should try it. This restaurant is called Zaxby's. It specialized in chicken and I think it was very good. I really enjoyed it but for some reason my sister didn't, but I have no clue why as it was really good. So we left there and then got to Concord Mills and said there for a couple hours about. Then we went to the gas station to get somes bottle waters ebcause your allowed to take in one closed bottle a peice and inside the ampitheatre it would be so expensive. So we got the venue, and since it appeared as if we were car pulling, we got to park even closer to one of the gates which was cool. As I got out the car are started walking to the gate on the far left, I immediately reconized Hayley's voice but It wasn't a song I had heard. I thought, "I'm a huge Paramore fan, I know all their songs." Then it hit me that they were performing a new song during their soundcheck! IT WAS AWESOME. So I immediately took out my video camrea so that you could here the audio in the background so that I could share it with you guys.***** (Don't get too excited for the sake of me being an idiot...read on) So I was really excited about that and when we entered on the far left, it led us straight into the Verizon Wireless Lounge where I registered for a Best Buy giftcard worth A LOT but I forget the amount and was asked to sing. I enjoy singing, but I wasn't about to do it in front of people. Eventually the gate in the Verizon lounge opened and after my parents and sister took an additional bathroom break (Like the 30th that day, I might add) we finally took our seats which I was pretty darn happy with. I was Section 3, Row K, and got a seat right on the edge so I was very satisfied with my seats. So we waited around for abit and Paramore took the stage around 7:25. THEY WERE INCREDIBLE. I had seen them once in 2006 and then at Warped Tour 07' but that had been all as they don't come to North Carolina as much as they should. I saw that someone had posted the set list in the Charlotte thread but I'll do it again. This is no particular order: Let The Flames Begin w/Outro That's What You Get Here We Go Again When It Rains Decoy Hallelujah w/Intro CrushCrushCrush Pressure Misery Bussiness I may be forgetting one, but I was perfectly content with the set list. I knew that they had to cut down some songs since they were the opening act but they performed as many or more than I expected them to. So, I believe from their regular Final Riot set they cut out, My Heart, We Are Broken, Born For This, and Fences. However, like I said, as much as I love those songs it didn't affect my time as they were so incredible! My dad got some pretty good videos with my video camera which I'm uploading to YouTube now and will put at the end of this post. Here's what is sucky. You know they new Paramore song that they played that I recorded while they were doing their sound check? I found out later in the car ride home that I had accidented DELETED it. The reason being is because my memory card got full during the concert, so during, "When it Rains" I had to delete some of my old pictures and videos that I didn't care about and appearantly, I accidentally deleted the new song. I'm so sorry. I really was happy that I could share it with you guys. Anyway, so then between sets, I sat around for a while and thought about how wonderful Paramore is. Eventually, John Mayer came on. I had always liked John Mayer as a performer but only knew like 5 of his songs. However, he was incredible as well! His guitar playing is too good. The only part that I didn't like is that my sister wanted to leave early so that we wouldn't be stuck in traffic and we have an hour and half drive home which really isn't toooo bad. We had seen the majority of his set, but the only thing we didn't see was his "encore" set. I really wanted to see, Your Body is a Wonderland as its one of my favorites, but whatever. I tried to not let that, upset me too much. OVERALL, the show was absolute wonderful. Paramore was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good and John Mayer was as well. It was one of the best concerts I've been too. Additional Notes: -Hayley pointed at me.... AHHHHHH. Not once, but twice!! Well, maybe the second time was wishful thinking as she could of pointed to the other fan club member wearing the awesome fan club shirt that time. But she pointed at me one time that's for sure! Maybe because my hands were in the air and I was having a great time, or most likely because I had great seats and Hayley spotted my Paramore fan club shirt in the mist of John Mayer fans. -I also have to say that there was a good number of Paramore fans there as well! I was pleasantly surprised. I actually saw more Paramore shirts than John Mayer shirts I think ha ha, but then again that's probably because my eyes were drawn to any great Paramore shirt. -The last addition note is that John Mayer was very complimentary of Paramore. During his show, he made a nice shout out to them two times. One time he said that they are great or something like that, and he hasn't heard a voice like that (Hayley's) in 20 years. The second time, he said that he was happy to share the stage with a band as great as Paramore or something like that. I don't really remember as I was screaming when he mentioned Paramore. Lastly, heres some of the pretty good video that my dad took with my camrea. We recorded a couple more videos but the memory card was full so they were very short so I won't bother uploading those, but we got pretty good video, I'd say. Overall, it was one of the best shows I've been to and it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO GREAT! Decoy: Let The Flames Begin w/Outro Hallelujah w/Intro OK, so the audio is still really good I think for a concert. However, when I uploaded it to Youtube, the video doesn't look near as good as when I watch it on my computer, so sorry about the bad video guys. For that reason, YouTube kind of stinks ha ha, but otherwise YouTube has been great forever! haha _________________ avrilbandaids.com hunterhasapoint.com
  8. ^ If so, I'll definately vote for your idea.
  9. For the writing idea, what I would write about doesn't even have much to do with meeting them or even seeing them! It would mention that but whatever. I just think that OVERALL more people could write then make a creative, nice cover, when obviously the nicer one would recieve more attention. And for the creative people who want to do the album cover, then you can make your "essay" or "writing" creative.
  10. I like this idea a lot. I haven't trueley met paramore besides quick autograph at warped tour stand, but there is lots that I could write about. I love this idea. It's fair, because obviously EVERYONE can relate to Paramore in some way even if you just like their music. My vote goes for this idea!
  11. Yeah, people with Paintshop and stuff would have a big big big advantage and for a big contest, there should be a level playing field. I don't have any good ideas now but I'll try to think of something.
  12. The Cheetah Girls? They will pale in comparison to Paramore. Sure their concert might have been big, more lights, and more showy but when it comes down to sincerety and talent, Paramore is just incredible.

  14. Great entry. Thanks! I'm excited for the tour book and the DVD!
  15. Some incredible person posted a thread about them on avrilbandaids.com. I say incredible because I was so happy to know Paramore right when they came out almost. I've been a fan since like July/August 2005. The first song I heard was pressure. There was a littlebit in early 2006 where I wasn't a huge fan of them because of some comments they had supposadly made about Avril Lavigne who I love, but then I said, "You know what? People all have their own opinions about who they like and who they don't so it was be ridicoulous of me not to be a big fan just because they don't like her" so I put that aside and now I'm a HUGE fan of Paramore.
  16. Thanks!! So probably, Paramore doesn't even want this tour because they want to rest. But the obviosly gave the OK to be on the list though right? because it would suck if I was told I had to do something I didn't want to do and then I look like a jerk after a large number of people voted for me and I said no lol.
